Additionally, he enjoys socializing and helping individuals, because these are just something which motivates him to keep believing in good things. Ever since he was young, he aspired to be a part of the creative music field, because he believes that music can make any task more enjoyable and inspiring. He likes to sing cover songs, and would enjoy becoming a cover-artist. Looking back through his childhood, he has overcome many obstacles that have still left a very distinct imprint in his mind. Over time, he has resolved to let go of his insecurities and stop comparing himself with others because he realized that no one is perfect. Through his experience with many ups and downs, he found out that it gives him faith that he can do amazing things when he puts his mind to it.

Currently she is a student at AUY (American University of Yangon) and she’s aiming to study business management in the future. She’s also one of the founders of LINK organization, a small non-profit charity organization. As the pandemic happened, she and her friends found people who were in need. In response, they started LINK and donated necessities to quarantine centers, volunteers, and orphanages. LINK is a small group but it’s one of the things which Heather is most proud of. She finds relaxation in drawing, reading, and listening to music. Her all-time favorite book is Big Magic by Elizabeth Gilbert. Heather is a teenager who is waiting for the pandemic to be over. If asked to describe herself, she’s a person who follows her curiosity.

Rozia wants to major in business studies with a focus on entrepreneurship, because she hopes to start her own business. She likes the idea of running her own company, making her own decisions and seeing her business startup become successful. She wants her business to be helpful to everyone, well-known for being trusted and of a high standard. During her free time, when she is done doing her school work, she likes to listen to music and watch Netflix. She is, as she likes to call herself, a “selective extrovert,” since she only shows her true, exuberant, authentic self around people she loves and cares about. Rody believes the greatest thing in life is the ability to love and care for others though that value can often be taken for granted. So she feels that her purpose in life is to spread love all around her no matter what the circumstances are. Rody believes that there’s always enough love to go around for everyone.

Thant Hpone Htut

Local Yangon bodybuilder
Thant Hpone Htut (Victor) is a freshman in American University of Yangon. Since 2020 was not very safe to be out of the home, he spent time with his family and doing things he truly enjoys. His hobbies include reading comic books with a nice cup of coffee by his side. He takes pride in his action figure collection, though some would say he gives it more attention than he should in his age. Another big part of his life is his bodybuilding obsession. He would describe his goal as a bodybuilder to give an impression that his physique is big and breathtaking as a first impression to anyone he meets in his life. As for his academic career, he want to focus on a biology or history related path mainly due to his love for learning about the ancient history. He personally hopes that when he goes abroad to study and work, he will meet new friends and finally get to explore a new place with newfound freedom.

Thiri Min Tun

Aspiring billionaire wannabe
Thiri is now a freshman in the American University of Yangon. Her curious nature leads her into a diverse range of controversial topics, seeking to understand various perspectives. Her main goal: Rationalizing frameworks and complicated patterns of how the world works. Despite being on the slightly introverted side, she is pushing her limits by becoming the president of the AUY's social club, pursuing her journey of self-improvement. Catch her off guard and she can be found scribbling things into her drawing book with her speakers blasting loud music in the background. "Who says I'm addicted to coffee?!" she says, as she grabs one of her many 16 oz. coffee mugs out of the cabinet. Described as a rather eccentric person by many, Thiri continues to woo her friends with her witty remarks and live her life to the fullest. With so many things going on in the outside world, she is currently giving her best to improve her academic profile in her tiny apartment along the streets of Yangon.

Krystal also hopes to open an orphanage to help children who have no one to care for them. She believes that success is not achieving fame or prosperity, but it is about achieving your specific goals for your future and trying your best till the end. As a good listener, she also loves to discuss many things like feminism and human rights. In her free time, Krystal loves reading, traveling and exploring new places, meeting new people, learning about cultures, and trying out new foods.
