Coming to a screen near you this Spring, Bath Spa University bring their 2nd TEDx conference to life.

Exploring the theme of "Resillience", the day will be brimming with industry professionals, international speakers and student led perfomances from our very own music department. This years event will not be one to miss.

Spring is here, the sun is shining and, somehow, the world looks a better place as we slowly emerge from winter lockdown. But it is undeniable - the last year was tough and we all know that we have a challenging journey ahead of us. At TEDxBSU, a free virtual event, we want to explore the tools, skills and mindset that can see us through difficult times.

Take a few hours out of your busy day and join us to celebrate RESILIENCE - listen to inspiring thinkers, makers and doers as they share their own experiences and top tips on how to navigate life's rough seas.

Learn how to look after your mental wellbeing when the going gets tough, how to pursue your dreams and ambitions despite the curveballs life might throw at you. A host of musicians and spoken word artists will inspire and energise us with their words and music throughout the event!

We cannot wait to showcase the talents and connections of Bath Spa University once more.

The event will be ticketed - however will remain as a free event.

Caravella Band

𝒄𝒂𝒓𝒂𝒗𝒆𝒍𝒍𝒂 | Indie/Dream Bedroom Pop Caravella’s songs feel like a story told over morning coffee with a close friend. The three bedroom producers--- Charlie Sellers [Vocals, Guitar], Otto Cox [Bass] and Jack Spooner [Vocals, Guitar]--- tell the stories though a fun, light-hearted and quintessentially British set, creating an “abstract and quirky” visual presence [Quote from Pete Josef] inspired by the modern Bedroom Pop Artists such as Gus Dapperton, Vansire and Boy Pablo.

Julien John

Being raised by a single mother who gave birth to me at 20 years old whilst already having 2 children, made me understand food poverty first hand and how hard it was to feed a growing family of 4. This gave me the passion to address the problem with food poverty in my own unique way. I think it is astronomical how so many people are going hungry but so much food is wasted each day. Whilst I started my career within Sales and Marketing, I decided to study Business Psychology to broaden my knowledge within that field. This has held me in good stead now that I have decided to start my own venture into combating the issue with food wastage on a commercial level.
