Annice Lyn

Documentary & Sports Photographer, Co-Founder of Women's Photographers Malaysia, Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia 2021
Annice Lyn is a documentary and sports photographer, who documents stories that resonate with critically important topics. As a former national figure skater, her transition into photography led her to be the only Malaysian female photographer to be accredited for the XXIII Olympic Winter Games, PyeongChang 2018, and Tokyo 2020 Summer Olympics. She is currently a laureate for Southeast Asia Women of the Future Award 2020, and a co-founder of Women Photographers Malaysia. Annice has recently photographed the cover of TIME magazine, April 2021 Issue, and was listed in Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia 2021 for her advocacy in bridging the gap in gender equality in the visual culture.

Datuk Ramli Ibrahim

Ballet, modern and Indian classical dancer, Chairman of Sutra Foundation
An accomplished ballet, modern and Indian classical dancer, Ramli Ibrahim has performed internationally for four decades. Since his return in 1983, he has boldly charted new paths, establishing Odissi as a widely appreciated dance form in Malaysia. Simultaneously, he has contributed to the establishment of Malaysian contemporary modern dance through the creation of a strong body of original works. Ramli has been honoured with the Sangeet Natak Akademi award (2011) and the Padma Shri award (2018) from India and a Datukship (2013) from Malaysia. To Ramli Ibrahim “Dance is a celebration and liberation of the body, mind and soul.”

David Mizan Hashim

Founder, Group President & Director of VERITAS Design Group
David Mizan Hashim is the Founder, Group President and Director of the VERITAS Design Group, one of Asia’s largest multi-disciplinary design firms which he established in 1987. David won the prestigious Most Outstanding Malaysian Award from the Junior Chamber of Commerce in 1999 in the category of Entrepreneurial Accomplishment and led VERITAS to receive the 1999 Enterprise-50 Award for the best-run medium-sized firm by Anderson Consulting. In 2005 and again in 2008, he was among the 5 finalists in the Ernst & Young Malaysian Master Entrepreneur of the Year Awards. David has been very active in the promotion of global trade in services and has spoken on this subject around the world on behalf of the International Trade Commission (ITC), the Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE) and the Malaysian Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI).

Dhabitah Sabri

National Diver & Olympian
Dhabitah Sabri is Malaysia’s National Diver and Olympian. She is an up and coming diving star that is beloved by all Malaysians. Having picked up the sport through a chance intervention by her father while attending a swimming lesson, she took to the sport like ‘a fish to water’. She made her mark in the diving arena with a win at the 2013 Asian Diving Cup in Singapore at the tender age of 14. At the 2017 Southeast Asian (SEA) Games, Bitah was the final torch bearer and the first female athlete to light the cauldron to mark the start of the Games in Kuala Lumpur. She qualified for the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympics through her 10m Platform Gold win at the 2015 Asian Diving Cup and captured the hearts of the global audience with her charming smile. In the recent 2020 Tokyo Olympics, Dhabitah made an honourable 4th placing in the finals for her pet event, the 3m Springboard!

Firdaus Khalid

Virtual Reality Artist, Programme Coordinator in Animation, Web Development & Games Programming at SAE Institute UK
Firdaus had his start with the comic industry at Gempak Comic Magazine. He then made his jump into the fast-paced video game industry with Storm Riders MMORPG, he has also volunteered in the toys industry via apps development-- it seems like nothing can stop Firdaus from breaking into all these exciting and fun industries one at a time. He is now the Programme Coordinator for Animation, Web Development and Games Programming Departments at SAE Institute, United Kingdom. However, he is also an established Virtual Reality Artist that has showcased his artworks in many international art exhibitions worldwide and gave talks at renowned conferences like the recent SIGGRAPH 2021. Since the United Kingdom had now lifted almost all of the COVID-19 restrictions, Firdaus next creative project is a Virtual Reality Art Exhibition at the prestigious Royal Standard Art Gallery, right in the heart of Liverpool city by this autumn, and everyone is welcome to enjoy the experience!

Jeffrey Webb

National Alpine Skier, Winter Olympian
Jeffrey Webb is a National Alpine Skier. He is one of only two Winter Olympians for Malaysia. Starting at a young age, his passion for skiing would eventually lead him to compete at an international level. He went on to represent Malaysia in its first appearance at the 2017 Asian Winter Games in Japan and then ultimately the 2018 Winter Olympics in South Korea.

Nauraj Singh

National Track & Field Athlete, Olympian in High Jump Category
Nauraj is a Malaysian athlete, specialising in the high jump event. He is an Exercise Science graduate of University Malaya. Nauraj Singh is a three-time gold medalist in Southeast Asian Games 2013 and 2015, and qualified for the Rio 2016 Olympic Games. In 2017, he beat the 2.30 mark in Singapore, improving his personal best. With this record, he became the first track and field athlete to reach the Olympics without a wild card since the 2008 Beijing Olympics. To date, he remains an avid athlete in the high jump category, achieving Silver in the 2019 Southeast Asian Games and winning Gold at the 2021 CAS International Meeting in Luxembourg. He is now married and lives in Leipzig, Germany, where he is based.

Yong Xun (Zero) Ong

Founder of JomStudy, Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia 2021
Listed as Forbes 30 under 30, Ong Yong Xun is passionate about making a change for the better. Founder of JomStudy, Ong Yong Xun carefully identifies problems and brainstorms solutions, such as his JomStudy brainchild, a mobile application that aids SPM candidates in accessing revision materials. He strongly believes nothing is impossible if one does the right thing at the right time with the right mind. “Never stop seeking discomfort”, he emphasises.
