In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Denis Huen

Specialist of Medical Robotics

Mr. Huen holds a Bachelors and Master degree in Physics from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. He has worked as a research assistant at the Mechanical & Automation Engineering Department of CUHK and at The Institute of Textile and Clothing at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Recently, he finished Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in Physics, The University of Hong Kong (HKU) and Master of Research (MRes) with Distinction in Medical Robotics and Image Guided Intervention at Imperial College London. He is suspending his D.Phil. study in Biomedical Engineering at University of Oxford in order to focus on his startup development. He is experienced in instrumentation, electronic, electrical and mechanical projects, science & technology researches and products development.
