In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Diane Devine

Senior Lecturer of Marketing at the Peter T. Paul College of Business and Economics
Diane has been teaching at the Peter T. Paul College of Business and Economics for over 10 years. She brings to this position a strong background of business experience having held high-level senior positions at top-notch companies including Saatchi & Saatchi, General Foods, Kraft Foods and High Liner Foods. She has run multi-million-dollar brands such as Cool Whip and Jell-O, and has done advertising campaigns for Procter & Gamble. Additionally, Diane runs a successful strategic marketing consulting firm, Devine Marketing Group, with a variety of clients including Fortune 100 companies and entrepreneurial start-ups—working on brands from CBS’s “Survivor” to UNH’s branding. In addition to her teaching responsibilities, Diane is the faculty sponsor of the UNH Marketing & Advertising Club (MAC), a collegiate chapter of the American Marketing Association (AMA). Diane holds an MBA from the Stern School of Business at New York University.

Rachel Campagna

Assistant Professor of Management at the Peter T. Paul College of Business and Economics
Dr. Rachel Campagna is an Assistant Professor of Management here at Peter T. Paul College of Business and Economics. Dr. Campagna joined UNH after about 15 years spent instructing across multiple institutions including the University of Pittsburgh, Washington University in St. Louis, Nationwide, and Harvard Business School. Her research focuses on factors that affect negotiation and post-negotiation behaviors, specifically the extent to which trust motivates effort and cooperative behavior after the deal. Prof. Campagna’s work is published in top journals such as the Journal of Applied Psychology and Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes. She holds a Ph.D. in Organizational Behavior from the Olin Business School at Washington University in St. Louis as wells as a master’s degree in Labor and Human Resources.

Vanessa Urch Druskat

Associate Professor of Organizational Behavior at the Peter T. Paul College of Business and Economics
Dr. Druskat has spent 30 years researching and consulting with teams and leaders around the world. Her research on team effectiveness has received awards for its rigor and practical relevance. Her Harvard Business Review article on emotionally intelligent teams has been reprinted four times in collections of the journal's most popular articles. She is also a passionate speaker and teacher and has received student-run teaching awards at three universities. Dr. Druskat holds a master's degree in organizational psychology from Columbia University and a Ph.D. in social psychology from Boston University.
