Theme: The New Us

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Barbora Valančauskaitė is a Vilnius International School 2025 graduating student. Her hobbies include various sports such as running, biking and football; where she specifically plays in MFA Žalgiris. She also loves drawing, writing, cooking, as well as spends most of her days working on various social media design projects for her clients.

Eglė Vedeckytė is a 5th grader in Vilnius International School. She values family, courage and creativity. Loves singing in music school “Liepaitės”, goes to an art club, enjoys swimming, writing and poetry. Always in the mood for a good book or a silly joke;)

Emilija Kiškytė

Emilija Kiškytė is a Vilnius Lyceum 2023 graduating student, studying in 10th grade. Her hobbies include singing in an a cappella ensemble at "Artūro Noviko džiazo mokykla", studying photography at "Vienofoto", graphic design and reading. She has several volunteering experiences at various organizations including: "Kartu tikrai galime", "Maisto bankas", "Heritas." She is a member of a "Vilniaus Neries Interact" club, where does social work and currently volunteers at MO Museum.

Erica Jennings

Singer, Songwriter, Producer, Host

Erica Jennings is best known as one of the most popular singer and songwriters in Lithuania and the Baltic’s for over 20 years and social activist. 2021 she began producing and hosting her own tv show called “Atrask Savo Balsa” (Find Your Voice) where she speaks to inspiring and successful women about how they found their purpose in life and how they overcame various challenges along the way. It’s now amongst the top 10 most watched content on GO3 Lietuva. The goal of the show, as is her mission in life, is to empower and inspire others.

Ieva Giedraitytė

Lecturer and Researcher at Institute of International Relations and Political Science, Vilnius University, and a Research Manager at “Policy Impact Lab”

Dr. Ieva Giedraitytė is a lecturer and researcher at Institute of International Relations and Political Science, Vilnius University, and a research manager at “Policy Impact Lab”, a company helping public, private and third sector organisations to design, implement and evaluate development-oriented policies and programmes.

Mykolas Undzėnas

Mykolas Undzėnas is Vilnius International School 2024 graduating student. His hobbies include reading literature, researching computers, taking walks in forests, as well as socializing with everyone.
