In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Aaliyah Bailey

Aaliyah Bailey is a student, healthcare professional, and serial volunteer. At just 24-years-old, Bailey ran for Missouri State House Representative in 2020 and remains involved in the community through racial and reproductive justice activism. An advocate for healthcare access, Bailey is pursuing her Master’s of Healthcare Administration at Maryville University. Bailey enjoys staying active and spending time with her family. Her 3-year-old daughter, A’miyah, can usually be found by her side and is a favorite at Zoom meetings.

Julia Seraphine

Founder and CEO of The Julia Seraphine Agency and Social Media Expert Julia Seraphine is a 22-year-old Entrepreneur and Founder of The Julia Seraphine Agency, a Digital Marketing Agency based in Connecticut. Julia is an award-winning Social Media Expert, and she has been working on Social Media since she was 9 years old. In her spare time, she gives Guest Lectures about Social Media, mentors business students from all over the world, and appears in various media such as television and radio where she speaks about Social Media Marketing.

Keonna Farmer

At the age of 26, Keonna Farmer is a multidimensional entrepreneur, consultant, author, mentor, coach, and nonprofit organizer, with a keen expertise in helping clients strategize to create a profitable business while gaining access to essential resources, needed to grow their bottom line. She has gained public and professional respect for her endeavors, success, and community involvement. Proving that age is no competition for wisdom, Keonna has managed to facilitate, organize, and establish businesses effortlessly, and is well under the age of thirty. With over 5 years of experience, Keonna has become equipped with the hands-on experience, knowledge, and resources needed to help mold and create well-rounded people. As an educator and businesswoman, Keonna has long been committed to diversity and recognizes the barriers faced by women and other minorities. In response to this commitment, Keonna remained steadfast and intentional that her organizations and businesses centered people and their experiences first. Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion are at the core of how she leads and empowers, and this commitment is unwavering—across all ventures.
