In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Always wanting to use her passion for good, Nourhan El Nemr, decided to use her design skills to make an impact, and serve a good cause. Through various collaborations with NGOs and Hospitals, Nourhan doesn’t just excel in her work, but she also develops on a personal level.

Omneya Mustafa

A women who has not had the blessing of having a child, Omneya Mustafa,has sought "Kafala," a form of adoption. Through such an experience, she created an NGO to help normalize "Kafala" in her country.

Salma Ali

Salma Aly, an eleventh grader, has always been interested in psychology and human nature. For a while she has been exploring a variety of concepts affecting our feelings and actions. She plans to major in psychology after her high school years to maximize on her knowledge gained
