Abdelaal Hussam (NR40)

Graffiti artist
Nr40 symbolizes evolution and creativity through teamwork and collaboration. It is an artistic group with a common denominator of graffiti and tattoo, each of the group specializes and develops in different fields of applied and fine arts. Their project seeks to bring together a wide range of creative industries with fine arts and techniques. Their group belongs to the community of Street Art Thessaloniki, Greece. Promotes freedom of creative expression through Street Art culture. The aim of the movement is to positively influence society and its people through artistic actions and energies. Also, in collaboration with various artists active in Greece, they have organized cultural events and activities such as music events, entertainment workshops with refugees, children and young people, murals, graffiti workshops or tours.

Aggeliki Kotsiali

Dancer
Angeliki Kotsiali is a 24-year-old choreographer, dancer and dance teacher from Thessaloniki. From a young age she has been involved in various types of dance, but in recent years she has focused mainly on waacking, street commercial and high heels. The choreography was performed by Angeliki Kotsiali and Angelos Tsarouchas. Bodies'Crescendo is a performance that shows how the intensity of two bodies increases, as they approach each other and come in contact. Choreography was created for the TEDx event.

Angelos Tsarouchas

Dancer
Angelos Tsarouchas came in first contact with dance through the various street styles. In recent years, however, he has been dealing mainly with modern and classical dance and performance, experimenting with queer identity and movement.Finally, the piece of music used is the work of Giannis Vassiliadis (aka Oh No He Didn't Productions). Giannis is an up-and-coming music producer and lyricist, influenced mainly by hip hop and experimental listening. Bodies'Crescendo is a performance that shows how the intensity of two bodies increases, as they approach each other and come in contact. The choreography was performed by Angeliki Kotsiali and Angelos Tsarouchas. Christos Taousanis

Career Analyst
Dr. Christos Taousanis is a career counselor, a Doctor of Philosophy of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, and keynote speaker in of events about education and career counseling. He worked for several years in the private sector in educational institutions. He then continued his career in the public sector, where he developed and supervised innovative programs to aid female employment and pedagogical and counseling support. From there, he resigned voluntarily to help young people to build a career they will love. As the founder of EMPLOY EDU career counselors, he and his scientific team have been a valuable help to hundreds of students to plan their future. What is the secret to making the right choice for our future?

Christos Papadopoulos Eli and the portraits

Music artists
Eli & the Portraits is a music project by Christos Papadopoulos, with the occasional participation and support of friends and associates. It started as a set of alternative country / dark folk songs written in the period 2011-2016. Later, the project acquired an additional element, the narratives around the life of Reverend Eli. Thus, in each of their appearances, they tell an original story of Eli, jumping back and forth in time, combining music and storytelling, poetry and stage action, in an attempt to go through the personal journeys of the hero. Eli & the Portraits premiered to the audience of Thessaloniki in May 2017 at the EF Theater with the story "Reverend Eli: An Origin Story". During the pandemic they continue to work writing the story of "Eli & the Jungle Within". In this year’s TEDxUniversityofMacedonia, they present for the first time the story "Fugue". But how do you think this story can be linked to a refugee's life?

Evgenia Efthymiadou

Food blogger
She is a member of the duο Thess del food (thessaloniki's delicious food), worldly known as Evgenia Efthymiadou & Thanos Roubis! Their love for gastronomy and for Thessaloniki, led them to the creation of the gastronomic blog and catering guide of Thess del food or Thessaloniki’s Delicious Food. For 4 years they have been creating quality gastronomic content on social networking platforms and on their site, with their latest creation the gastronomic Podcast shows with the title "At the table with the Thess del food”. Their working profiles also played an important role in the creation of the blog. Evgenia is active as an agronomist and adult educator, specializing in teaching various subjects such as the production of organic products and quality of raw materials in confectioners.

Haris Lalatsis

Market Analyst
Haris Lalatsis has been involved in market research for the last 12 years and has gained experience in all positions in this sector. He cooperates with some of the biggest brands in Greece that specialize in the fields of branding, storytelling, and forecasting models, while he maintains broad experience in political and social research. In 2017, he founded his own company, ierax analytix, which specializes in qualitative research conducted with focus groups, product testing, and mystery shopping. He enjoys connecting with the consumers and believes that the most important ingredient in research and understanding the market is knowing how to pose a question in a smart and intelligent manner.

Irini Bountouki

Irini Bountouki is the first international plus size model in Greece. Her passion for fashion, the years she works but also her talent, grant her this title. Graduate of the Athens Theological School of UOA, having worked in various fields, today is one of the leading figures in the field of domestic fashion, counting collaborations in London, Estonia, Turkey, Azerbaijan and China. With intense social action, voluntarily occupying the position of mentor in the free WOMENTORS women's empowerment program of the Lambrakis Foundation but also participating in the action FAST HEROES, she works tirelessly for a future without discrimination, with the common denominator of respect. Her role as mother, which came into her life 7 years ago, is the main driving force for claiming, through her work and action, a quality life for all people.But how did plus size modeling change her life and the fashion world?

Lydia Kallipoliti

Architect
Lydia Kallipoliti is an architect, engineer and academic, whose research focuses on the intersections of architecture, technology and environmental policy. She is an assistant professor at Cooper Union in New York. She has also taught and is a professor at prestigious universities worldwide. Her work has been published and presented extensively and she is the author of the award-winning book The Architecture of Closed Worlds, Or, What is the Power of Shit, the History of Ecological Design for the Oxford English Encyclopedia of Environmental Science, and the author of EcoRedux , a special issue of Architectural Design. But how has the way we see the world today changed and where an architect focuses?

Olympia Pampoukidou

Music Therapist
Olympia Pampoukidou was born in Thessaloniki, where she studied. She is a psychologist (AUTH), a psychotherapist specializing in Systemic Family Psychotherapy, and completed her master’s degree in Music Therapy at the University of Macedonia. She received a Piano degree from the State Conservatory of Thessaloniki. She worked at the Autistic Person Unit "Hope", at the "Center for Autism and Parent Support" where she applied a psychotherapeutic game to children on the autism spectrum. Today, she cooperates with the Elderly Care Units "Panorama" and "Estia Papageorgiou" providing mental health services to the elderly. Also, she had given speeches in association with the “Anoichto Laiko Panepistimio”, the Department of Musicology of AUTΗ, the bookstores Malliaris-Paideia. However, how is Crescendo associated with human evolution?

Orsalia Partheni

Growing up close to her father the late fashion designer, Dimitris Parthenis Orsalia Partheni has always had fashion in her DNA. Her inner passion for the arts led her to study History of Art and Architecture at Brown University and Columbia University, while part of her curriculum also included Modern Culture and Media and Film History. After completing her studies in the US, she continued her studies in London at the Courtauld Institute of Art earning an MA in History of Dress, while getting to know fashion history behind the scenes of some of the greatest museums in the world such as the V&A. Her professional career started in the multinational publishing house of Vogue, ‘’ Conde Nast’’ while from 1996 she is at the creative helm of Parthenis fashion house. However how important is fashion and the way it is promoted in today’a society?

Q Violins

Violinist
Q Violins are three talented violinists who started their work in the face of the coronavirus pandemic. This figure is a family affair because it consists of the father and his two sons. George Kiourtziadis, the father, a great violin virtuoso played on big stages and collaborated with great artists. Alexandros Kiourtziadis and Dimitris Kiourtziadis, following in the footsteps of their father, studied at the State Conservatory of Thessaloniki and do not stop surprising everyone with their talent and talent on the violin. The three violinists create their own sounds combining the classic with the modern. Their music is a journey into the ages, a flashback to the past and a return to the present.
