The theme for this year's TEDxYouth@RBKIA is to bring into limelight the significant things that we are neglecting on a daily basis. We believe that we must help our minds to shift our focus towards the unnoticed things, changing the way we perceive the world around us. This TEDx event at RBKIA hopes to spark new, unique ideas and inspiring thoughts. Assisting this desire, TEDxYouth@RBKIA is proud to present to you - Observing the Unnoticed.

Aadhya Shetty

Student
Aadhya Shetty is an 8th grade student at RBK International Academy, who has a keen interest in entrepreneurship and has constantly tried to figure out the formula for success. She found something better instead. No stranger to failure, Aadhya used her own and others experiences to discuss “The Anatomy of Failure”.

Aaira Shah

Student
Aaira Shah is a 13 year-old student at RBK International Academy. We all know that tech addiction is an incredibly spoken-about topic worldwide. But what’s not talked about, is what goes on behind your screen, that hooks you onto the app. When you open Facebook and Instagram, how is it possible that you find a feed perfectly curated to your interests? Some may call this issue an invasion of privacy, other call it capitalism. Nonetheless, she believes that the more we make this issue a topic of discussion, the closer the world gets to finding a solution.

Aditi Arora

Regional Representative for India for Girl Up, United Nations Foundation
Girl Up is a movement, in partnership with the United Nations, to promote and advance girls’ rights and opportunities to be leaders. Their whole initiative is based on “When girls rise, we all rise.” Ms. Aditi Arora, the country representative of Girl Up India and a TEDx Speaker, will talk about “Period poverty, how women’s rights, in rural areas, are completely neglected and how to empower these women.”

Aditya Badrinarayan

Student
Aditya Badrinarayan is a 10th grade student at RBK International Academy, who is an aspiring astrophysicist. Everything we can see, planets, stars, whole galaxies, make up only around 5% of the universe. Whereas, dark substances makes up about 95% of the universe, making majority of the universe invisible to us. He will address “Why dark matter, matters?” and the talk will include how the universe would be without it and the search for this elusive material.

Arjun Jain

Student
Arjun Jain, a student in IBDP 1 at RBK International Academy, aspires to be a physicist. He diligently follows multiple developments being made in science and potential theories being crafted every passing day. One such popular and highly debated conjecture is the string theory. Hence, he will talk about “The advancements in the string theory that are furthering our grasp of the universe at its most minuscule level.”

Cahir Jomraj

Student
Cahir Jomraj is a 10th grade student at RBK International Academy. Similar to many inquisitive teenagers, he attempted to interpret why we dream and whether they represent our desires, fears, and inner-most feelings. Circumstantial observations suggest that what goes through our minds just before we fall asleep could affect the content of our dreams. His talk will address “How our actions affect our subconscious mind and how we can control our dreams.”

Pranay Duggal

Student
Pranay Duggal, a student in IBDP 1 at RBK International Academy, is a complete physics enthusiast who really enjoys reading about multiple developments being made in science and potential theories being crafted every passing day. One such popular and highly debated conjecture is the string theory. Hence, he will talk about “The advancements in the string theory that are furthering our grasp of the universe at its most minuscule level.”

Pratham Mehta

Student
Pratham Mehta is a student in Grade 8 at RBK International Academy, who is fascinated by the world of science. He is keen to become a chemist in the future and is persistently attempting to magnify into the chemical world. Always being connected to the scientific world, Pratham has studied great scientific minds and he will use his research to discuss the most important scientific concept, “Observation: The Science behind Discovery and Development”.

Ziya Sanghavi

Student
Ziya Sanghavi is a 13 year-old student at RBK International Academy. There are two ways we can use our anger – one is to let our temper consume us and the other is to channelize our emotion and express it in better, more powerful ways. She strongly believes channeling our anger can help us deal with daily instances in a better manner. Thus, contrary to the notion that anger muddles thinking, she will address “The role of anger in fueling creative energy.”
