O ato de cuidar sempre aparece marcado por aspectos sociais, culturais e políticos. Nossa saúde está conectada à cidade, à natureza, às nossas escolhas e às dos outros. Cuidar da saúde é, portanto, estabelecer conexões entre distintas dimensões, olhando para nós mesmos e, também, para o coletivo. Atenção, preocupação e responsabilidade com o outro é como podemos definir a palavra cuidado. Na área da saúde, ele envolve um agir integral, levando em conta as diferenças entre as pessoas. Vamos conversar sobre cuidado coletivo?

Elaine Oliveira Soares

Enfermeira, professora e pesquisadora
EN - Elaine is a Nurse (UNISINOS), Master in Collective Health (UFRGS), and a Specialist in Health Assessment (FIOCRUZ) and in Social and Cultural Projects (UFRGS). Public employee, she is the technical responsible for the Health of the Black Population at Secretaria Municipal de Saúde de Porto Alegre (Municipal Health Secretariat of Porto Alegre). Elaine is a professor (FACTUM), member of the Racism and Health Brazilian Association of Collective Health / ABRASCO WG and Health of the Black Population of the Brazilian Society of Family and Community Medicine / SBMFC WG. She is also part of the Cultural Association of Black Women (ACMUN).

Lucas Mendes de Oliveira

Médico Psiquiatra
EN - Lucas Mendes is a Doctor by University of Brasília (UNB), Psychiatrist by Hospital de Clínicas de Porto Alegre (HCPA), Psychoanalytic Psychotherapist by Luis Guedes Study Center (CELG/HCPA), and researcher in Mental Health of the Black Population (PPGPSIQ UFRGS - Grupo Alliance). Lucas is a black man, from Bahia (born in Barreiras), Latin American and Afro-Brazilian. He is co-founder of the collective A Teia (connecting people) and member of the collective Diáspora Africana do Cerrado, which proposes the promotion of health, culture, and black identity in quilombola communities.

Lucia Pellanda

Médica, professora e pesquisadora
EN - Lucia Pellanda has a degree in Medicine from Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), a master's and doctorate in Health Sciences (Cardiology) from the University Foundation of Cardiology. She teaches and does research in the field of Epidemiology, Scientific Methodology and Evidence-Based Medicine. Lucia has a great ability to communicate with the most diverse audiences and, in addition to writing scientific articles, she writes texts that lead us to great reflections. As President of UFCSPA (Federal University of Health Sciences Foundation of Porto Alegre), she believes in shared decision making and evidence-based management. As a leader, she conducts and disseminates sensitive listening and enhances the individual and collective characteristics of her team.

Nêmora Tregnago Barcellos

Médica, professora e pesquisadora
EN - Nêmora Tregnago Barcellos has a degree in Medicine Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), a master's and doctorate in Medicine: Medical Sciences (UFRGS). She is an Adjunct Professor at the Graduate Program of Epidemiology at UFRGS and a professor of Infectious and Parasitic Diseases and Public Health in undergraduate courses at Unisinos. She is a researcher at the Graduate Program of Collective Health, in the line of Evaluation of Policies, Programs and Actions in Health, and in the last months she has been dedicated to epidemiological research linked to the SARS-CoV-2 epidemic in Rio Grande do Sul State and in the Country (Brazil). She has experience in the area of Medicine, with an emphasis on Infectious and Parasitic Diseases, acting mainly on issues related to HIV infection and AIDS.
