Ajit Mapari

Dr. Ajit Mapari is the founder of "Fit2Sport," a sports specialty clinic in Pune, Maharashtra. His experience spans more than 18 years in the areas of injury prevention and management, sports-specific fitness guidance and program execution, and covering events as a sports doctor. Dr. Mapari is also a director at ISSRA (Integrated Sports Science Research Association) and the IRBF (International Roll Ball Federation). He completed his Masters in Sports and Exercise Medicine at the University of Exeter, Devon, UK, and has served as the team doctor of the FC Pune City team representing the Indian Super League (ISL). Notably, he was assigned by the ICC (International Cricket Council) as a DCO/Chaperon for the India-Australia ODI series 2013 and India – West Indies test match series 2013. You can find his articles on www.blog.decathlon.in. Dr. Mapari is also a columnist on “Sports Champ,” a monthly Sports Edu magazine based in Maharashtra.

Brahmanand Siingh

Brahmanand Singh is a national-award-winning filmmaker, a widely acclaimed author, and a life coach based in Mumbai, India. He is known for his films "Kaagaz Ki Kashti," a biopic on Jagjit Singh, and "Pancham Unmixed: Mujhe Chalte Jaana Hai," a feature-length documentary on R. D. Burman. He has also won the REX-Karmaveer-Chakra Award, with the United Nations, for transforming lives through social impact projects and ideas of hope. Singh attended St Xavier's College Ranchi and eventually went on to pursue a Master's Degree in English Literature from Kolkata University. He has written extensively on Cinema, Literature, Art, Music, and other human stories for over 15 newspapers and magazines. He has also authored three notable biographical books, "Diamonds & Rust," "Strings of Eternity," and "Lightness of Being," besides contributing chapters to international books, anthologies, and poetry collections in India and abroad. Moreover, he is among the most sought-after speakers for inspirational and resonant leadership and helps many as a life coach and advisor/counselor. Through his films, speeches, and workshops, Singh consciously and strategically lowers the usually revved-up mind speed and opens lives to make them see all those delightful details, feel the depths of their experiences, and sense the exciting unseen things of daily life and work.

Jnana Aithal

Jnana Aithal is currently a student of NMAM Institute of Technology in Karnataka. Besides academic excellence, she has bagged many achievements like the Natya Mandhana Award, Vishwa Kala Ratna Award and State Kalashree Award. Jnana had won first place in the State level Bala Pratibha Bharatanatyam competition. This national-level dance competition winner is trained in multiple dance forms like Bharatnatyam, Kathak, Odissi, and even Western Dance.

K VijayRaghavan

Dr. K VijayRaghavan is the Principal Scientific Advisor to the Government of India. After a B.Tech and M.Tech in chemical engineering from IIT Kanpur, he moved over to TIFR for a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology and later to Caltech for his postdoctoral work. He played a significant role in establishing NCBS, Bangalore, and was a former director of the same. He was also a Secretary to the Department of Biotechnology previously.

Mukund Thattai

Dr. Mukund Thattai is a Professor at NCBS, Bangalore, working on ‘Emergence of cellular complexity from microscopic disorders’. He is a physicist practicing biology and uses combined eukaryotic genomics, mathematical models, and cell-biological experiments to address the research questions. Being an eminent orator, his visionary ideas are quite well known in the academic Twitter. “Accidental biologist. Tweeting about cool biology, science in India, art/science engagement” is his Twitter bio that rightfully defines his areas of interest. He is a member of the TIFR International Center for Theoretical Sciences.

Priya Abraham

Dr. Priya Abraham is the Director of ICMR-National Institute of Virology, Pune. She completed her MD and Ph.D. from Christian Medical College, Vellore. Dr. Priya was appointed as the director two months prior to the COVID-19 onslaught beginning in India, and since then, she has been at the forefront of India's fight against the Pandemic. She, with her team, is actively engaged in Sars-Coronavirus-2 diagnosis and characterization.

Ritvik Upadhyay

Ritvik Upadhyay, ‘the honest magician’ is a Mumbai-based Magician skilled at hand in art and mentalism. He will take you through his journey of the interactive style of magic and leave you awestruck. Entering into the world of magic at the age of 11, his life has turned out magical in itself. In 2017, he was the title winner of Mr Talented at the Bombay Times Fresh Face. After college, he picked up magic as his full-time career. Going forward, he worked and performed for various brands and corporations like Google, Carnival Cruise-lines and others. He has performed for the likes of superstars and toured more than ten countries. He is also an official sailor and hardcore Liverpool FC fan.

Sundar Sarukkai

Dr. Sundar Sarkkai is a visiting faculty at the Center for Society and policy, IISc Bangalore, and was previously the professor of philosophy at the National Institute of Advanced Studies, Bangalore. He pursued his Ph.D. from Purdue University, USA, and works primarily in the philosophy of the natural and social sciences. He is a prominent Indian philosopher who has worked in premier institutions and has given several talks on many diverse topics. He also is the founder of the Barefoot Philosophers initiative and has a forthcoming book on “Philosophy for Children”. His talents do not limit to oration, as he has authored many books; Philosophy of Symmetry, Indian Philosophy, and Philosophy of Science, What is Science? and many more.

Thomas Talhelm

Dr. Thomas Talhelm is an Associate Professor of Behavioral Science at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. He holds a Ph.D. in Social Psychology from the University of Virginia. He was a Fulbright Scholar for psychology research on China's northern and southern cultures and a Princeton in Asia fellow as an English teacher at South China Normal University Affiliated Middle School, Guangzhou, China. Tomas is also the founder of Smart Air, a social enterprise to help people breathe clean air, and is working towards raising awareness about air pollution while providing a low-cost alternative to expensive air purifiers.

Vidhi Jain

Vidhi Jain is the co-founder of Shikshantar, an institution that aims to challenge the culture of schooling and institutions of thought-control. If you have been following the topic, it is very likely that you may have come across her dynamic talks on the YouTube channels of TEDx Talks, TEDxYouth, Josh Talks, Centre for Civil Society, and Local Futures, among others. Vidhi Jain has been a Learning Activist with Shikshantar for the last nineteen years. She drives the "Families Learning Together" and "Unschooling" initiatives and works on community media and expressions in the "Udaipur as a Learning City" project. She is also part of the initiative called "Swaraj University," an experimental learning community for Khoji-seekers to explore themselves and the world. Besides this, Vidhi is very passionate about slow food and helps support the Hulchul Saturday Caf├® and many local food festivals.
