In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Ariana Gruest Miranda

Law student at the Universidad Panamericana Campus Aguascalientes. Participant in the Philip C. Jessup Competition and member of PANAMMUN. She is currently the legal coordinator of a Mexican plastic company.

Armelle Gouritin

Phd in law awarded by the Université libre de Bruxelles. She worked for two years at the CIDE in Aguascalientes as a visiting professor and then she started working as a researcher with the Conacyt at the Latin American Faculty of Social Sciences (FLACSO), in Mexico. Her lines of research cover the link between human rights and the environment, environmental / climate justice, responsibility for environmental damage, and she is developing the second phase of a research project on the phenomenon of climate mobility.

Briana Marquez

Briana Márquez, is a student of Engineering in Innovation and Design at the Universidad Panamericana Campus Aguascalientes. She has been featured in forums such as Model United Nations and green projects.

Miguel Ángel Marmolejo Cervantes

National Researcher SNI-1, at CONACYT, Public Corridor, Social Witness of SENER, research professor in energy of the Universidad Panamericana, visiting professor at the University of Aberdeen, Scotland and of the Master in Energy Law of the Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León.

Pia Perger

Doctor of Science graduated from the Institute of Geophysics of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). She has carried out research in various institutions such as: -Center for Scientific Research for Laboratoire de Géophysique Interne et -Tectonophysique, Université de Savoie; Chambery, France. -Research School of Earth Sciences, Australian National University; Canberra, Australia. -Sensenada Higher Education, Earth Sciences, Baja California; Mexico. -Physikalisch Vulkanologisches Labor, University of Würzburg; Germany. -Hawaiian Volcano Observatory, US Geological Survey, Hawaii; U.S. -Instituto Nacionale di Geofisica e Vulcanologia, Catania; Italy. She completed her Master's studies (Master's in Volcanology / Geophysics) at the University of Würzburg, Germany and her Doctorate studies (Doctorate in Sciences) at the Institute of Geophysics of UNAM. In the professional environment, she has experience in the industrial field in Munich, Cologne and Hanover, Germany, where she has held the position as a Consultant in the fields of environmental remediation, energy technology, geophysics and chemical analysis. She currently works as a Professor-Researcher at the Faculty of Engineering of the Universidad Panamericana, Campus Aguascalientes, teaching classes in Engineering and languages. Her area of interest is the research and development of engineering projects, Circular Economy including the study of renewable energies and the analysis and treatment of water and soils.
