Jia Li

Associate Professor, China-UK Low Carbon College, Shanghai Jiao Tong University
Li Jia, a PhD in mechanical engineering from Imperial College London, has done all kinds of fun and interesting things. SHe has been exploring carbon capture, utilization and storage for 15 years. After teaching at three different universities in the UK, She returned to China where the world’s most power plants are constructed. Jia is currently working at Shanghai Jiaotong University. She is committed to reducing carbon dioxide emissions from traditional fossil energy power plants, chemical plants, steel plants, and cement plants, and vigorously promote negative emissions reductions to achieve China's 2060 carbon neutral goal.

Jian Gao

Founder and Chief Designer of Gaiascape
Gao Jian, Master of Landscape Architecture, Peking University, Founder and Chief Designer of Gaiascape. Over the years, He has advocated for participatory and sustainable design concepts. He and Gaiascape provide public sustainable design education and offers opportunities for citizens to practice ecological actions. Through design life and landscape education, he cultivates a social atmosphere of a green lifestyle.

Miao Zhang

Founder of R Cubic
Zhang Miao has a master's degree in environmental engineering from Peking University. Since graduation, she has been engaged in front-line environmental pollution research to promote environmental governance. She established R Cubic in 2017, a social enterprise focusing on the field of waste reduction and sorting and recycling. Miao is called wastepedia by her peers.

Nanqing Jiang

Chairwoman of Beijing Green Inclusive Network Technology Co., Ltd.
Dr. Jiang Nanqing served as a senior project officer in the UN Environment China Office from 2008 to 2018. From 2018 to 2020, she served as the Secretary-General of the Plastic Recycling Branch of China Synthetic Resin Association, leading the sustainable development of the plastic recycling industry. Since 2020, She serves as the Chairwoman of Beijing Green Inclusive Network Technology Co., Ltd. to construct a green travel platform. In September 2020, the All-China Environmental Protection Federation's Green Cycle Inclusive Committee was established and she serves as the Secretary-General.
