Alex Synan

The Art of the Scribble
Alex is a current fourth grade student at Hartwood Elementary School. His favorite subjects are science because he enjoys learning new things and discovering new species. His favorite hobbies outside of school include sketching, playing music, Legos, spending time with family and playing board games. In the future, he hopes to be a doctor or to be a hematologist or an oncologist. He is passionate about sketching and also being kind to those in need.

Ben Stanley

The Art of the Scribble
Ben is a fourth-grade student at Hartwood Elementary. He enjoys biking, playing football and baseball outside of school. Inside of school his favorite subject is math. He enjoys sketching and doodling, and he is passionate about his speech which brings in both.

Burgess Clements

Burgess is a fifth-grade student at Hartwood Elementary School. He is passionate about sports and spreading kindness wherever he goes.

The Beauty of Agriculture
Campbell is a current fourth grade student at Hartwood Elementary School. Her favorite subjects inside of school are math because it is good to challenge your brain. Her favorite hobbies are showing sheep and also playing soccer. In the future, she hopes to show pigs and market lambs. She is passionate about the 4-H club and showing farm animals specifically.

What Can You Do?
Charlotte Coutu is a current fifth grade student at Hartwood Elementary School. Outside of school she enjoys figure skating. Inside of school, her favorite subject is math. She also enjoys gym class. She is passionate about her speech because it is very important that we protect the oxygen that plants and trees are giving us.

The Science of Baking
Cora is a current fourth grade student at Hartwood Elementary School. Her favorite subjects inside of school are science because it is a unique subject. She enjoys baking, art and all kinds of dance outside of school. In the future, she hopes to be a scientist and a designer. She is passionate about everything and anything related to science.

Eddie Rothmeyer

Upside Down
Eddie is a current fourth grade student at Hartwood Elementary School. His hobbies outside of school include ice skating and gaming. In the future, he would like to be a game designer and build games when he is older. He is passionate about what he is writing because he wrote poems in third grade, and he wanted a chance to try it again.

Ellie is a current fourth grade student at Hartwood Elementary School. Her favorite subjects are gym, art and music. Outside of school she enjoys soccer, gymnastics and playing in the woods. In the future, she hopes to be a soccer player or possibly do taxes. She is passionate about singing and getting people to do and try new things.

Jack is a fourth-grade student at Hartwood Elementary School. His favorite subject in school is reading. Outside of school, he enjoys gaming and also biking. Jack is very passionate about the poem he wrote because he is eager to change the world.

Lily Snyder is a fourth-grade student at Hartwood Elementary School. Her favorite subjects inside of school include math and writing. Outside of school, she enjoys playing video games, playing viola and writing. In the future, she hopes to be an astronaut, and she is very passionate about space and learning more about it.

Lizzy is a fourth-grade student at Hartwood Elementary School. Her favorite subject is math because she feels it challenges her mind. Her favorite hobbies outside of school include sketching in her notebook and playing with her brother. In the future, she hopes to become a vet so she can help animals in need. She is passionate about rescuing animals and helping animals who need help.

Maeve Carey is a current fifth grade student at Hartwood Elementary School. Her favorite subjects inside of school include social studies because she loves learning about history. Her favorite hobby outside of school is cheerleading. In the future, Maeve hopes to be either a history teacher or a kindergarten teacher. She is very passionate about taking care of her new dog.

What Makes A Friendship?
Sarah Hoshi is a fourth-grade student at Hartwood Elementary School. Her favorite subject in school is gym because fun activities always occur there. Outside of school, she enjoys soccer, piano and playing violin. She hopes in the future to either be a professional soccer player, piano player or violin player. She is very passionate about this speech which talks about being a good neighbor.

Sarah is a current fourth grade student at Hartwood Elementary School. Her favorite subjects inside of school are history because she can learn how her ancestors lived. She enjoys playing games, skateboarding, baking, watching T.V., biking and playing with her friends. In the future, she might want to be a volunteer at an animal shelter or work at a bakery. She is passionate about nature and helping the natural world grow.
