What is TEDxSanaa « Countdown »
The TEDx Sanaa countdown event will focus on conversations that offer new solutions and local perspectives on climate change that the focus of the event is on, and every conversation should reflect this. Also, this is not an ordinary TEDx event, as the Countdown initiative focused on five areas (energy, transportation, materials, food, and nature).
In this event, we aim to show our community how they can participate by organizing volunteer activities and initiatives around climate issues. Here, the only limitation is our imagination, and we will also inspire them with many ideas by publishing the conversations that will be presented in the global broadcast to launch the countdown.
Unlike TEDx events, there is no limit to participants in our Countdown event. Therefore, we will bear in mind what makes the conversation useful and fruitful for all participants. We will also work to implement the conference electronically through the application of Zoom to ensure the participation of the largest possible number of this event and expand the circle of beneficiaries of this conference.
Finally ... we can change the climate to reach a safer, cleaner and just future.

Targeted Audience:
We will focus on our target audience being open, inclusive, and diverse in their interests and knowledge as well, and we also plan to invite a wide range of scholars, activists, entrepreneurs, urban planners, farmers, CEOs, investors, artists, government officials, and more to find the most effective and evidence-based ideas. Our goal is to identify the bold solutions that can be activated when people break their silos and rise to the level of the challenge, and also learn more about solutions to the global threat of climate change.
