Myrianthi Oxtoby is the founder and New Age Grower of a start-up family company, HerbanLeaf Farms , situated in Parekklisia, Cyprus. HerbanLeaf is Cyprus’ first sustainable indoor hydroponic farm built inside a repurposed shipping container providing clean locally grown leafy greens, herbs, and edible flowers. HerbanLeaf is a fully automated farm that grows greens all year round with consistent quality. Myrianthi is a young, passionate female farmer in an industry dominated by traditional male farmers. Using her Interior Design and Forex background, Myrianthi took up the challenge and created the HerbanLeaf brand. A brand that focuses on local and sustainably sourced food. She works to encourage the community to know how their food is sourced for the wellbeing of their health and of the environment. Her aim is to provide a healthier alternative using the latest technology in farming, a farming method that sees little environmental impact as well as eliminating the need for importing greens.
