Theme: Time to Pause

This event occurred on
March 6, 2021
University Park, Pennsylvania
United States

Human beings are a busy species. From morning to night, our days are planned. We move from one activity to the next, to the next, to the next, until the day ends. When our world moves too fast, we lose sight of the small things. The colors of a sunset. The way our best friend laughs. A night sky sprinkled with stars.

It’s no secret that many of life’s most authentic moments and meaningful lessons come and go in a matter of seconds. When we don’t intentionally pause our lives to appreciate a moment, we might miss it. Taking time to pause amidst the chaos of life is integral in our ever evolving and meticulously planned lives. Time to pause to appreciate the magic of the world around us. Time to pause to gain new perspectives and ideas.

TEDxPSU Time to Pause is a space to pause our bustling lives and reflect on new ideas, encourage new perspectives, and appreciate the little things in life.
