Adam Harry

India's First Transman Pilot

Born a girl, Adam Harry now identifies himself as a Trans Man. Adam signifying the first man on the earth, and Harry as He is a potter head! He is INDIA’s First Trans Pilot whose grit took him sky high. In an interview with the Spandan team (AIIMS-P.Official Magazine) he says: “When I made my maiden cockpit journey during the training,I felt that the entire struggle was worth it. I literally felt a sense of weightlessness, leaving all the burden on the ground.

Dr. Ravikirti has led the department of medicine at AIIMS Patna since its inception. He is an enthusiastic teacher and is credited with introducing newer methods of assessment in undergraduate medical education. He is passionate about patient safety. He runs an NGO that works for the rural and underprivileged people.

One of the most prominent Indian researchers and Professor of Psychiatry, Dr. Santosh Chaturvedi has been the Dean of Behaviour Sciences, Head of Department of Psychiatry, Head of Psychiatric Rehabilitation Services and Head, Department of Mental Health Education at NIMHANS, Bangalore. He has also been the part of Speaker’s research initiative of the Parliament of India.

Vivekanandan is a researcher at Kusuma School of Biological Sciences, IIT Delhi, and a medical microbiologist by training. With over 15 years post Ph.D. experience on infectious diseases including 5 years at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, Baltimore, USA, he and his team developed COROSURE, an RT-PCR assay for COVID-19 that is claimed to be the world’s most affordable COVID testing kit.
