Theme: A Future Reimagined

This event occurred on
January 21, 2022
New Delhi, Delhi
India

Wear a mask. Sanitise frequently. Maintain social distance. Who would have thought these diktats would be part of our daily life? Who would have thought a virus could cripple economies, stretch health care systems and bring the world to its knees?

As we wage a war against the pandemic, festering issues such as discrimination, inequality and climate change stare at us, unblinking. We can look away no longer. We cannot ignore the writing on the wall; the pandemic only made the font bigger and the ink indelible. This visibility gives us hope – a chance to reimagine a future where justice prevails, where living in harmony is an unspoken pledge and where we are continually evolving as ‘humane’ beings.
