In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Abdelrahman Saber

Abdelrahman is a secondary school student. Throughout his whole life, he has been showing a great interest in various matters and affairs, three of which are psychology, animal rights, and feminism. Psychology has grabbed my attention before he became thirteen. The fact that this field explains a lot of actions and offers a great mix of solutions to almost every single problem, no matter whether it was a predicament or a niggle has left him utterly impressed and fascinated. He believes that psychology aids us to comprehend the emotions of almost any living organism capable of feeling them, thereby making it one of the most interesting fields for anyone to start looking into. He volunteered as a listener on a website in order to help others with anything they were going through and that’s what really encouraged him to talk about his experience during the event. The fact that sometimes our mere words could really affect someone’s life and change it from one state to another has touched him. Words could make someone, who had a rough day, complacent and pleased with themselves, and also, they could make that same someone dissatisfied and get him to question his own qualities and worth. As a listener, He dealt with many cases and met a lot of people who share the same goal. He is also a novice writer and currently works on an autobiography. Abdelrahman has been a feminist for about three years and I hope that one day I would be able to discuss such topics with those who do not agree with the movement for any reasons.

Abdullah is a former English instructor and trainer who trained more than 10000 people. He was selected by the British Council and the United Nations to travel to Brazil and teach English there. Abdullah was a speaker in more than 30 events all over Egypt.

Mr. Ahmed is a certified resume writer from the University of New York. He works as an HR Generalist at Cairo 3 A Group and was the former talent acquisition specialist at Spectrum Company. He has many qualifications and past experiences in his field. He was the former HR Ambassador at IBM Egypt and former HR at AMIDEAST Egypt. He is a Master of HR candidate and holds an HR certificate accredited from HRCI. He had an everlasting impact on his community, helping over 10,000 people in 7 countries to develop their CVs, training 5,000+ people for CV writing and business skills in 10 universities in Egypt.

Engy is a 19-year-old with strong leadership skills. She participated in many youth activities affiliated with the Ministry of Youth and Sports and some cultural activities like the French Cultural Center. She is trilingual: Arabic, English, and French.

Mohamed is a 21 years old student, public speaker, instructor, and trainer. He wrote 8+ different translated articles in different countries. He worked in a translation and consulting startup as a team leader and the youngest project manager in the whole staff. He helped over 1000 people in learning English in different speech workshops. Mohamed is the Co-founder of Linguatism, the first Egyptian online organization that helps people learn and translate over 5 languages. He created a course about self-development and career with 100% positive feedback. His story was rewarded as the best success story in 2021 by EFUO.

Omar Zaki

Omar Zaki is a high school student in STEM Red Sea High School. He is interested in reading and writing especially in the field of human development. Omar participated in competitions for writing as "تحدى القراءة العربى". He is interested in the fields of programming and engineering.

Somaya Saeed

Somaya is a second-year student at the faculty of medicine at Ain Shams University. She is a participant at ISEF with her project Aqua Car about cars that can be safe underwater. She is a 2019 Women2women alumni and 2020 LaunchX alumni.

Tarek Ahmed

Tarek is a 17-year-old student from Egypt. He decided to take advantage of the opportunity and entered a training in scientific research. He was able to remain influential in the community. The SRS initiative worked as an abbreviation for Scientific Research School, and this is the first public high school initiative in Sohag to support school scientific research.

Tarek Alabd

Tarek is an Egyptian Software Engineer, Team Leader, Author, Public Speaker, Youtuber and Google Developers Group Leader. He has +7 years writing code and worked in both web and mobile development. Now, he focuses on building Android and IOS apps using Flutter and Dart. He is working as a freelancer in building mobile apps. In addition to that, he taught +1000 person how to program, gave +50 talks, +20 workshops and courses about Flutter, Android, AI, MOOCs, Freelancing, basics of programming and so on.
