Game Changers - Ideas that fuel innovation

Our event focuses on breakthroughs that impacted the world and altered the course of history. Today’s reality is shaped by brilliant breakthroughs. Innovations in different fields can have the power of improving the quality of our everyday lives and creating new opportunities, as well as possibilities for us to explore. They change our world in ways beyond imagination. We are not only looking back, but also looking into the future to find emerging ideas which might very soon turn into game changers themselves.

Trudi West

Leadership Faculty at Ashridge Executive Education
Trudi West has a keen interest in how we are motivated, particularly what drives thinking, feeling, and action. She works with leaders and managers to learn what takes them from surviving to striving. This is particularly effective for leaders working under pressure, busy and pulled in many directions, with few ‘right’ answers. Trudi creates an engaging and trusted learning environment that helps leaders experience, reflect, make sense, and ultimately do something different to create change at an individual and organisational level. She is currently exploring the phenomena of trust as part of her Ph.D. which builds on her research about working with integrity under pressure as well the concept of risk. She’s able to draw directly on her own career as before refocusing towards psychology, Trudi worked as a broker of financial futures and options on the LIFFE open outcry trading floor.
