Abdelghany Shoair

Calligrapher
Abdelghany Shoair is an Egyptian calligrapher. He started to learn calligraphy at the age of 13. For the last 20 years, the main focus of Shoair was to develop modern styles for Arabic calligraphy and apply them to all creative fields such as logos, posters, TV Ads, Book covers, Movie Titles, and more. He worked with many global brands/institutions such as ICRC, CIB, Etisalat, We, STC, and many ministries in Dubai, KSA, and others.

Ahmed Yahya

Eco Group CEO and Founder, Ahmed is an Egyptian traveler with a passion for travel within Egypt. Obtaining a master's degree in “Cultural Heritage Management” from the French University in Cairo was a quantum leap for Ahmed, as it inspired him to quit his job and start his new business venture in eco-tourism, hospitality, and handicrafts. The goal is to help the locals rediscover their natural and heritage treasures while placing these treasures on the eco-tourism map to achieve material and moral returns for the local population. The company built the first eco-lodge in the city of Aswan and won first place in the first World Tourism Organization competition for sustainable tourism for the year 2019 in the Middle East.

She founded the campaign (In Your Hands) to clean the New Damietta seashore in 2019. It is an individual campaign that aspires to transform the seashore into a clean area of all kinds of waste and try to find effective solutions regarding recycling in New Damietta. She is interested in the field of media, community studies, and reading, and she is the owner of the 'Asma Sherb' channel on YouTube, in which she talks about her new readings and everything related to books. She completed a personal blogging project called (365 Days of Writing) on the Blog Post platform and is currently working in the field of content creation and creative writing.

Klaxics Band

Choir
Klaxics is the largest A cappella group in Egypt, and it is a unique model of a team that anyone can apply to join without commitment to age, profession, education, or previous musical experience. Klaxics is the first and only female-led A cappella team in Egypt. Dalia arranges, writes scores for different voices, and trains non-professional singers. She also sings as a soprano and soloist. All members of the team - including its founder - are non-professionals who are self-taught in music, come from different ages and backgrounds, and women in particular participate in a large proportion. Previous Klaxics productions have been attended by children as young as 10 years old. Many of the Klaxics' members - including Dalia - were former members of the Fayhaa Choir which Dalia considers "the mothership of all the local a cappella bands".

An educational researcher who works in Humanitarian aid. He holds a bachelor's degree in petroleum and mining engineering and a graduate degree in international humanitarian assistance from the Institute for International Humanitarian Affairs at Fordham University in New York. Mohamed also holds an MA in International Development from the University of Birmingham and studied Change in International Development at the University of Oxford. Mohamed Moamen took a trip by local transportation from Cairo to Cape Town in South Africa. He later co-founded the Africa Hope Foundation, which focuses on improving access to basic education in different countries in Africa. Mohamed is currently the Senior Director of the Refugee and Migrant Program at Save the Children International.

Nedal Badr

A renowned name in the design community, Nedal’s innovation, and expertise are centered around architecture, interior design, product design, and Arabic calligraphy. His background begins with having lived and gained experience in design in six different counties. His education includes an Environmental and Architecture degree from AAST (Alexandria, Egypt) and a master’s degree in architecture from the Dessau Institute of Architecture (Dessau-Rosslau, Germany). He is a respected interior design academic in Cairo and the founder of Nedal Zone, which today makes up half of Design Zone. Nedal is a recipient of the ‘Design + Industry’ Silver and Gold Awards in 2012 and 2014 respectively. His work has been shown in Salone Satellite 2014 and Paris Design Week 2019, among others.

Yasmina Abou Youssef

When she visited a slum in Ezbet Kheirallah in the heart of Cairo, where illiteracy, poverty, and malnutrition are a fact of life, she decided that change is needed and that this area is as much her home as the rest of Cairo; Yasmina Abou Youssef founded Tawasol Egypt, An Initiative to Empower Women in Impoverished Areas in Cairo.
