Professionally she’s a finance expert at a management consulting firm; spiritually, she's employed by mother nature. She knows how to explore places and experiences from a different lens. Traveling, moving from one place to another; meeting new people, getting to know more cultures, being exposed to different ideas, different thoughts is what gets her going. Ali Afroz

Law Student

Ali Afroz, the only child to his parents, was declared the topper of All India Law Entrance Test 2018 in the differently-abled category. Diagnosed with 90% blindness when he was just a year-and-a half, this partially sighted young man made it to the first merit list of almost all prestigious law entrance exams including CLAT, SLAT, LSAT and CET. With a remarkable academic journey to his credit, his zeal to go beyond his own disability and work for the welfare of the masses is clearly exhibited from his interest in careers like civil services and human rights.

Ms. Alisha Pradhan is a Bangladeshi actress, television presenter, and businesswoman who rose to prominence as a teenager on television and later starred in several films. She became a presenter for broadcasts of the 2013 Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) cricket season. Ms. Pradhan is the founder of HerNet TV, Asia’s first TV on Women Wellbeing. Its vision “Discrimination Free Harmonized World for Women” identifies with the SDG 2030.

Angad Daryani

Tech Entrepreneur: CEO Praan.

Mr. Angad Daryani is the maker of India's first 3D printer which is also the world's cheapest 3D printer. Often addressed as a child prodigy, the little genius, the inspiring teenager, Mr. Daryani has been an inventor since a very tender age. Homeschooled by teachers who focused on hands-on-learning, he developed a LEGO Mindstorms Humanoid Robot at the age of 8 and created a Pinhole Camera, Plastic Kaleidoscope and several other significant devices at the age of 9. A 23 year old Electrical Engineer from Georgia Tech, Mr. Daryani spends most of his time working on entrepreneurial projects in the clean tech and AI space.

A political campaign strategist, consultant and author, Mr. Ankit Lal started his journey as a Social Media activist in 2011. Having worked as the Social Media & IT Head of AAP since its inception in 2012 till 2020, he managed the party's Digital presence in more than 15 National, state and municipal level elections. A columnist and writer for NDTV, Mr. Lal came up with his own Political Consultancy firm called 'Politique Advisors' in 2020 and has worked in 3 different state elections with 3 different political organizations. Over the past few years, he has also worked as a consultant for individual candidates in South Africa, Malaysia and Sri Lanka

Dr. Palash Sen

Dr. Palash Sen is an Indian singer, songwriter, musician, composer and actor, best known as the founder and frontman of India's Rock/Pop band Euphoria, the pioneers of 'Hind Rock' or rock music in Hindi. With the release of their debut album “Dhoom” in 1998, Euphoria was the first indigenous band that became a household name. In 2002, Sen made his Bollywood debut with the film Filhaal. He has also worked as a playback singer in Bengali and Tamil films.

Harish Patel

Indian Actor

Mr. Harish Patel is an Indian character actor who has appeared in various Bollywood films. He made his film debut in Mandi directed by Shyam Benegal in 1983. Before getting into the silver screen, he gained prominence for his performance in TV serials Malgudi Days and Gopalji. Popularly known for his catchphrase "Gayee Bhains Paanee Mein" (the buffalo entered the water), in the movie Mr. India, he also garnered international recognition after starring in Marvel Studios’ Eternals as Karun. Apart from Hindi films and televisions shows, he has also appeared in American and British films.

Under his eminent leadership, EaseMyTrip became the only consumer-tech startup, that bootstrapped itself till IPO and became a unicorn later. Mr. Pitti is responsible for the long-term business strategy, merger & acquisitions, marketing, public relations, investor relations & branding department at EaseMyTrip. A B-Tech from IIT Madras, Mr. Pitti is also the co-founder of a social app NearGroup, which crossed 42 million users worldwide

Satyarup Siddhanta

Mountaineer

Mr. Satyarup Siddhanta is a celebrated mountaineer from India who holds a Guinness World Record for being the youngest in the world to climb the highest mountains and volcanoes of all the 7 continents. When he’s not climbing, he’s a software consultant, a social worker, a professional certified ransformational coach and a motivational speaker who shared his inspirational journey at prestigious platforms including CERN (Geneva), ASEAN headquarters (Jakarta), TEDx and TiECon, to name a few. It’s hard to believe that Mr. Siddhanta, who was a chronic asthma patient and couldn't even run a 100m without the aid of an inhaler, has fluttered the National flag at the highest and remotest points of all the 7 continents.

Shubhasish Chakraborty

Social Scientist and a Writer

Mr. Shubhashish Chakraborty is a recipient of a coveted fellowship from the Ministry of Culture, Government of India. He spoke on the Sustainable Villages in Activate Summit at United Nations Headquarters in New York in 2019. He is a social scientist who wears several hats while discharging his duties in a global conglomerate. He is an expert on tribal affairs, and an award-winning filmmaker, poet, and writer who works tirelessly in the field of community development. He has been donating a substantial amount from his salary for over 10 years in helping and transforming the underprivileged communities in Jharkhand, India. Over time, he decided to adopt a village in the Sonahatu Block of Ranchi called Pandadih to bring holistic development, where the majority of the population belongs to the rural and tribal communities. He has transformed the village on the idea of Prime Minister Atma Nirbhar Bharat. He is a role model to propagate the idea of Individual Social Responsibility!

Subodh Poddar

A Painter, Sculptor and a Filmmaker

Mr. Subodh Poddar is a renowned Ad Guru and contemporary artist. Previously, a film director at FCB Ulka and a creative director of popular advertisements for more than 200 products like Amul, Nerolac, LIC, Santoor, etc., Mr. Poddar is a creative director at FCB Global, based in New York City. Mr. Poddar has drawn portraits of many celebrated dancers including Birju Maharaj, Kelucharan Mohapatra, Mrinalini Sarabhai, Mallika Sarabhai, Sanjukta Panigrahi, Malavika Sarukkai and Saswati Sen, to name a few. A ‘Dance scape’ painting expert, Mr. Poddar, who never attends a dance performance without his sketchbook and pen attempts to capture the energy of the live dance movements while seeing them on stage.

Sumedha Sengupta

Indian Classical Odissi Dancer

Sumedha Sengupta has received training under the tutelage of Late Guru Giri Dhari Nayak in ‘Odissi Ashram’, Kolkata for 25 years. She is an A Graded Artist of Doordarshan Kendra, New Delhi, and empaneled artist of SPICMACAY for Workshop Demonstration. She is also the recipient of the Senior National Scholarship in Odissi Dance from the Ministry of Culture, Government of India; Gold Medal from Pracheen Kala Kendra, Chandigarh; Yuva Ratna Award; Nritya Shukla Jyoti Samman and Rajendra Deep Samman from various cultural institutions. She has been performing all over India and has represented India in Japan in an International Summer Festival organized by SCOT (Suzuki Company of Toga) in Toga, Japan as an Odissi performer. She is presently working as the Program Assistant at Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts (IGNCA), Regional Centre Ranchi under the Ministry of Culture, Government of India.

Temsutula Imsong

Social Activist

Ms. Temsutula Imsong is an activist who acquired global fame for her inspirational individual initiative in cleaning up the ghats of Varanasi. Raised in a village in Nagaland, Ms. Imsong is the Co-founder of Sakaar Sewa Samiti, a non-profit organization involved in rural initiatives concerning child health, sanitation, relief efforts during floods and also supporting self-help groups working for preserving traditional handicrafts. Her exemplary endeavour in changing the state of sanitation in the historic city of Varanasi that is visited by over one million pilgrims annually, have also received recognition from the Honourable Prime Minister of India, Mr. Narendra Modi.
