TEDxAjaoEstate would be a fast-paced, highly curated program featuring talks and performances in the spirit of TEDx. This would include music, tech demos, short talks, video interludes, live performances, interactive exhibitions, and other creative surprises.

We have moved into an important phase in the history of human evolution where new technology & innovation is radically transforming our lives every day. The global conversation is growing at an exponential rate, and the playing field is leveling.

Our theme this year is "A New Different." We would be seeking new, smarter and different ways of doing things in this post-pandemic era. It offers a wide range of topics, solutions, and areas to explore; with speakers from different fields and backgrounds.

You can analyze the past, live in the present and plan for the future, but there is always an element of surprise for what’s coming next. Where are we going and what will be the next revolution?

Babajide Ipaye

Entrepreneur and Founder, Keexs.

Babajide Ipaye is a dynamic, results-driven Nigerian Social Entrepreneur, CEO and Founder of Keexs, an Africa-inspired footwear brand based in Africa. Keexs is a profit social enterprise that donates 10 percent of its profits towards poverty alleviation initiatives. In Jide’s professional life, he has assumed roles in the information and technology space, ranging from IT Engineer, Consultant, and Information analyst at various companies in Nigeria. Babajide Ipaye is the co-founder of Torque Technology Limited, Business Minds, and a Private technology company. These are some of the affiliated technology service initiatives. Babajide Ipaye continues to develop himself and has received various certifications such as Cisco Certified Network Associate, Certified Fibre Optic Technician, Dell Certified Systems Engineer, and Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer. He was awarded the Award for Innovative Entrepreneurship from Paragon Award for Excellence and accolades for his social enterprise.

Barinaada Alex-Iheanacho

Startup Legal Expert and Founder, Barinaada Legal

Barinaada Alex-Iheanacho is a brilliant lawyer and a Startup legal consultant, an international speaker, and an author. She is the founder of Barinaada Legal; a specialized and 100% Startup focused law firm. In January 2019, Barinaada became a viral sensation across Africa after she was recognized by a billionaire giant Dr. Strive Masiyiwa for her contributions towards helping Startups have access to legal services through her brand “Barinaada Legal.” In July 2019, Barinaada was invited as a speaker at the first convergence of the Afro-Asia Fintech festival organized by the Central Bank of Kenya and the Monetary Authority of Singapore which was held in Nairobi, Kenya and tagged “Fintech in the Savannah.” In the same July 2019, was carried by THIS DAY newspaper as the legal personality of the week.

Ben Chiadika

Filmmaker, Screenwriter and Producer. Director at MNet Tinsel

Ben Chiadika Is an award-winning director, filmmaker, screenwriter, and producer. He currently works on three MNet projects "Tinsel", "Eve", and "Venge". He is a believer in excellence and is currently the creative head of The Pater’s Heritage Mission, an NGO that uses drama, music, dance, and print media to create change in the hearts of men and in doing so, create the desired positive change in the world. Ben Chiadika is also the convener of "The Creative Bank Network". A gathering of creatives helping to grow and impact the film industry. It's a forum where "experience" interacts with "talent", where the "professional" and the "amateur" meet, and where those who have gone ahead can lend a helping hand and pull others up. His directorial credits include the sitcom Soul Sistas, Richard Mofe Damijo’s (RMD) “The X Family” Show, Foreign Love movie, and the multi-award-winning movie “Unbreakable” to mention a few.

Author, Entrepreneur and Blockchain Advocate

Chris Ani is an entrepreneur, author, startup advisor, bitcoin, and blockchain advocate. He is the founder and CEO of the daba whose website is widely known as www.daba.school. A fast-growing online educative platform that offers in-demand high-income digital skills. Chris Ani is a young man who’s desire is to see young people within and across Africa empowered with profitable skills. He founded DABA with the mission to eradicate poverty thereby ameliorating unemployment within the society.

Chukwuma Ephraim Okenwa

Public Affairs Analyst and Social Entrepreneur

Chukwuma Ephraim Okenwa, popularly known as “CEO” due to his initials, is a social entrepreneur and a public affairs analyst. He is a school administrator and the convener of Youth Decide 2019. CEO is the brain behind the One Nigeria Reality Project, endorsed by the National Orientation Agency, and the project lead of the ADA 042 tourism and cultural pageant. As an SME enthusiast, he has been involved as a mentor in projects such as the Youth Empowered by Coca-Cola and the Boost-Your-Business Training, powered by Facebook. HeistheexecutivedirectorofLEADNetworkAfrica, principal partner at H-Formance Consulting, and the founder of CEO Media Agency. Okenwa has been appointed twice as a YALI Network influencer in Nigeria. He is a fellow of the Leadership Course in Criminal and Security Intelligence Management (Defence Intelligence College, Abuja) and holds a Diploma in Multilateral Diplomacy from the United Nations Institute for Training and Research.

Ezinwanne Eta

Learning Coach and Innovative Educator

Ezinwanne has been a teacher at the primary school level, secondary school, and also on the faculty of a university. In 2006, she took on a project to resuscitate a school that was on a steep decline. Within one session, she turned the fortunes of the school around and achieved a student growth of 30%. Ezinwanne believes that every child is born with a gift to learn and excel; and that teaching must be deliberate and executed with passion, student-teacher engagement, and deep reflection. In addition to being an innovative school leader and teacher, Ezinwanne has excellent communication skills, a knack for organization, and a trained eye for detail. She has a Master of Arts degree in Education from the University of Nottingham, United Kingdom. One of her strong passions is ensuring that students learn in and out of the classroom. She is presently the Head of Secondary in The Childville Schools where she also heads the Languages Department.

Jumoke Dada

Entrepreneur and Founder, Taeillo

Jumoke Dada is a Nigerian entrepreneur and the founder of Taeillo. She began her career working as an intern at various interior design, architectural, and furniture manufacturing companies. At 26, Jumoke became the Founder and CEO of Taeillo, an e-commerce furniture business in Nigeria that allows customers to envision furniture designs through augmented reality and virtual reality. In 2017, She received the She Leads Africa Accelerator Award for young female-led businesses leveraging technology to create better African Communities. She was named one of 1000 entrepreneurs by Tony Elumelu Foundation and awarded Diamond Bank Building Entrepreneur Award. In 2020, She was featured in TechCabals Women in Tech and Elle Decoration South Africa 2021. She was also featured as a Milestone Maker of the Fall 2020 cohort of the Nasdaq Entrepreneurial Center on the Nasdaq Tower at the New York Times Square. She is a Pritzker Fellow and was among the '100 Most Inspiring Women in Nigeria' in 2021.

Nelly Agbogu is the brain behind the NELLIES Healthy Food and Snacks Company in the heart of Lagos, Nigeria. She started her company in a bid to find healthier options in the course of her weight loss journey. All this was made possible through the use of Instagram. This has made her start online masterclasses and live videos on Instagram through her platform NAIJABRANDCHICK. She calls herself 'Lolo One of Instagram'. People love to listen to her because she breaks down social media into the simplest terms.

Nnenna Fakoya-Smith

Popularly known as Ajala Nene, Nnenna Fakoya-Smith is a Tourism Promoter and Visibility Coach. She is the Founder of Nene-Uwa Hub Ltd, a tourism company that promotes tourist destinations in Africa and sustainability for Tourism businesses and organisations through digital strategies. Nnenna has been recognized as one of the "Young Tourism Personalities of the Year" by the Nigeria Tourism Awards for hosting the first ever Tourism Virtual Summit. She was nominated for the "Rising Star of the Year (Tourism)" and "Best Tourism Innovation Through Technology (Tourism Virtual Summit)" by the Pyne Awards. She has a first degree in Sociology from Covenant University, Ogun State and a Post-Graduate degree in Community Relations from Pan-Atlantic University, Lagos State both in Nigeria. Her hobbies include collecting postcards, stamps, coins and banknotes, which got her featured on Forbes Africa as one of Africa's Aficionado Collectors.
