In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

He hopes to take a look at how small interactions can affect our psychological disposition towards certain demographics. The topic which fell out of his comfort zone was a revelation to understand and talk about opened his perspective to the complexities of the human brain.

She plays tennis for her school team and is a percussionist in her school’s ensemble. She also enjoys singing, playing the piano, baking, and volunteering for the community.

As a junior at MTHS, Riten Patel is always facing challenges from heavy coursework. However, on nights where peers are awake past the graveyard shift, he still manages to sleep on time. As a year-round athlete, he’s always pushing himself physically. He still spends egregious amounts of time playing on his PlayStation.

Shivank Lattupally, a sophomore at Monroe Township High School, hopes to educate and inspire young teens, about the multitude of benefits which come when joining and competing in sports. He aims to help teens understand how similar sports is to the “real world.” He is a track athlete, a High School soccer player, and even a year round soccer player in an academy. He loves public speaking, FIFA, and hanging out with friends and family.
