It's about high school students sharing new insights, learning strategies that they have learnt in their young personal, social or academic life. The goal of this event would be to share novel or innovative solutions or viewpoints that the students have come up with for issues that they have grappled with like stress, anxiety, loneliness, peer pressure, addictions, etc. Thus in essence it is about sharing learning from one's past experiences to improve the present and the future of oneself and the society.

Aayushi Malhotra

Student
Laughing at everything to being sensitive about alot of things is how you describe Aayushi. She tends to get attached to people and things and has learnt from her mistakes and events that have happened in her life. She hopes you take away what she took away from what she learnt in her past years. She is an extrovert but ocasionally needs to be in her own world to reenergize for all the socialising. She loves talking and listening to new people but along with that she loves her me time and the five people who mean the world to her.

Charu Agarwal

Student
Her friends know her to be magnanimous, mellow and helpful. Having all these traits helps Charu Agarwal to mingle well with everyone she meets. Her talk talks about her one trait she very desperately wants to change and the reasons as to why she wants to alter it. Currently doing A Levels, all she can think about right now is to get in a university of her choice and she is working hard towards that goal. When she is not thinking about this, she is either busy talking to her friends, playing games with her family, or binging new shows and movies.

Dhriti Agarwal

A keen learner, who believes everything has something to teach us in their own way, just like this year. Today, everyone is going through a world crisis, which is concerning but also acts as a patience test for all of us. Dhriti, in her talk, talks about the numerous ways in which 2020 has up-skilled her and helped her grow.

Dhwani Boricha

Dhwani is someone who is bent towards learning new things and having various experiences. She enjoys painting her way through life and getting lost in different worlds while reading various books. She is also a keen observer of the various aspects of the human society. Her talk talks about the various problems she faced, and how she overcame them while juggling around with her widespread interests.

Florina Fernandes

Language teacher
Born in a musician’s ‘large’ family, Florina Fernandes’ childhood was dominated by music lessons and family reading time steered by her father. This prompted her to conduct reading sessions for her sons and their ‘literary hungry’ friends 12 years ago to fruitfully engage them during the long summer holidays. She has been an educator for 25 years and believes that reading is the essence of one's existence. It is a life skill that will lead you on your journey towards your goal.

Gowri Ramaswamy

A self-proclaimed top-notch singer under the shower who loves playing with her hair, and a thinking introvert. She first found love in her mother's music, then she created love in the stories she started penning in her diaries. She continues to explore love in every form of art, but along her journey she witnessed contempt and hate, sometimes directed towards her, or others. She dives deeper and finds that one of the roots to this problem is the difference in opinions and how people handle it.

Hitika Bajaria

An introverted extrovert is the perfect way to describe Hitika. Talking to new people in real life is not the easiest task for her, however she channels this into her social media and her music page. She is a self taught singer and ukulele player and likes to record her work to show the internet. Having changed at least 6 schools and having lived in 2 different countries, has definitely taken a toll on her. Her talk is about how she struggles with body image and how she's trying to overcome it.

Jai Patel

Jai is an outspoken person who tries to correct his mistakes in the past and enjoys the present and doesn’t worry much about the future. He is also a science enthusiast hence he wonders quite frequently about the mysteries of the Universe. Apart from that, he is a really hyperactive person so you’ll probably find him most o.f the time watching or playing sports, traveling, or spending time with friends and family. Although today he’ll be sharing an experience from the past which lead him on a journey to master his emotions.

Krishna Balaji

Born on 31st October 2004, Krishna Balaji is a keen, caring and enthusiastic person. Though an introvert, he loves spending time with his family and his friends. He is here to talk about the journey of his 'life as an introvert.'

Nida Aslam

Nida Aslam is a keen reader who loves music, art and most notably-cats. She enjoys spending time with her friends and learning something new from everyone she meets. Once she sets her eye on something, she leaves no stone unturned to achieve it. One day when she was watching news during the dull lockdown, she came to a shocking realisation about media manipulation. Now she's trying hard to avoid being tricked by it and wants to help others do the same.

Nysa Khandelwal

Nysa likes to call herself an observer of human behaviour. She has an ardent love for travelling and considers the world to be a manifestation of thoughts and actions. Nysa is known to be a buoyant personality by her friends. A recent encounter with curiosity made her question what is considered to be a normal practise of 'living in the future.'

Pooja Gala loves to explore new things, especially in something related to art and she loves travelling too. She is an introvert herself but loves to spend time with her family & friends.. Moreover she has seen her people around her give up on things way too fast because they are too afraid that they might fail in it therefore she wants to tell all of them through her speech about how failure is completely okay.

Rishikesh Kanabar

It is rightly said that our greatest glory is not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall. Life is not just about winning every time, but also learning from the setbacks. Today, there is a common notion that setbacks are a source of demotivation rather than a source of learning. Rishikesh Kanabar, a high school student, who has been learning programming for over 3 years now challenges this very notion. He makes it a point to correlate his programming challenges with life lessons. This is what he calls the "Syntax of Life." He also wishes to inspire many people to pursue programming and also enjoying the journey. Apart from his programming and academics, Rishikesh enjoys playing squash, eating new food, and playing video games.

Charming, intelligent, always willing to help others and loved by all his friends and family, he does not miss a chance to do a healthy mischief. Filled with humor with his presence of mind, participated in stage play and jamboree act, served as captain for 2 years in the school football team…. a born leader leading by example.

Trisha Shetty

Trisha Shetty is a person who loves to learn new things and explore. Her passions include reading, travelling and learning more about the world. Her journey with sustainability has been a relatively recent one but one that she is keen to continue on. She hopes to inspire others to educate themselves on this issue too.

Vanshika Masand

Vanshika aims to straddle the world with her fierce personality. She is full of life, donning multiple hats effortlessly. With her kid in a candy store attitude, she is set to grab any opportunity that may come her way. She has intellectually stimulating conversations by the day and disrupts her family’s peace by the night with her guitar.The result of one of her said conversations adds onto her new perspective on education which she has tried to convey through her talk.

Varun Ravindran

Varun in this talk highlights the potential perils of alternative methods of stress, and how music can aid one's rehabilitation when one might fall into these traps. It also discusses the benefits of music on one's mind and body. An inquisitive person with short attention span, he likes to know how things work, and how these could be used to their advantage. His varied interest in things around him has led to him being involved in many extra curricular activities, from basketball and football, to drawing, to music.

Yashasvi Mehta

Yashasvi is someone who likes to meet new people, make new friends, likes to play sports. Caring, friendly and confident are some words that can describe him. He also likes to stay around wild animals and photographing them.
