In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Fang Zhou

Ho Kwong Kwan

Ho Kwong Kwan is an Associate Professor of Management in the Department of Organizational Behavior and Human Resource Management at China Europe International Business School (CEIBS). His research interests include mentoring, leadership, deviant behaviors, and work-family interfaces. He grew up in Hong Kong, China and got his PhD degree in the United States. It is interesting and exciting for him to work in mainland China, because over the past four decades, economic reforms have led China to become a market-driven one, resulting in a changing business environment.

John Li

John Li is a quantum physics PhD drop-out from USC, a former NSF Fellow, entrepreneur, inventor, game designer, mathematician, physicist, computer scientist, educator, and rule-breaker. John Li's vision is to make math skills universally accessible via his math-engine technology.

Lingjie Wang

Lingjie Wang is one of the artist duo Hao Jingfang & Wang Lingjie, and their dual professional background of art and engineering effectively promotes their exploration of the ultimate commonality between material and the spiritual world.

Shiyu Lu

Shiyu Lu is a technological humanist at Tencent Research Institute with research directions including technological well-being, technology endowed old-age care, and seniors’ technology usage. She has conducted academic support projects in areas of internet anthropology, psychology, and communication studies, etc. She is the founder of the S-tech (Society & Technology) studio and the creator of a tripartite communication platform seeking to facilitate the conversations among the industries, the academics, and the field of research.

Xia Li

Xia Li is Founder and CEO of Shenzhen Power Solution, a leading social enterprise dedicated to serve the bottom of pyramid (BOP) population in developing countries by not only providing access to green energy but also improving productive use for income.
