Charan Madaka

Student
Charan Madaka is an active junior at Heritage High School, spending most of his free time volunteering and working on his hobbies, whether it be animating or playing video games. He enjoys hanging out with his friends and is passionate about understanding the struggles people face in their own mind, wishing to help them in any way. In his free time, he likes to read books, play his violin, and spend time with his older sister.

Gurpreet Thind

Student
Gurpreet is a junior with a passion for the field of medicine. Her goal is to one day become a pediatric surgeon who can help improve the lives of many children and families. She can be described as an optimist, as she is someone who always looks out for the positive aspects of life. Some of her hobbies include spending time with family and friends, watching Netflix, reading, and traveling. She also has a very deep love for her cultural background and enjoys attending cultural events and taking part in cultural activities. She has a passion for helping others and strives to have a lasting impact on making the world a better place for all.

Jillian George

Student
As the President of the IB Club and Assistant Drum Major of her high school band, Jillian has a strive for teaching, leadership, and excellence. She has tons of school spirit, and is involved in her school's Orchestra, Color Guard, Varsity Women’s Wrestling, and Track Team. In her free time, she loves to hang out with friends, do graphic design, drink boba, go on long car rides, volunteer for non- profits, and watch scary movies. Jillian is passionate about Women's Equality in STEAM, Sustainability, and Human Rights! She used her gift and love for public speaking, education, and leadership to Co-Found Solis, which is an organization dedicated to creating equality in education by providing aid to the unseen students of the education system. Apart from being the Co-Founder of Solis, Jillian is involved in Girl’s Inc. Eureka!, Athena's Edge, ASF Youth, and Project Create a Future! In the future, she wishes to attend Stanford University in order to become a psychiatrist.

Nandini Mangalapalli

Student
Aspiring to be an outstanding student with the endeavor to always serve her community, Nandini strives for quality leadership, initiative, and excellence at all times. She continuously proves her spirit at Heritage HS by participating in many school programs such as Varsity Tennis, Business Professionals of America, VASE, ISM, and several other clubs. Not only has she been involved in these extracurriculars, but she has been recognized at the state level for her passion of video production and presentational skills. She is passionate about advocating for women’s rights, to which she uses her gift in Sync with Pink, a student-led organization affiliated to NBCF with a fundraising initiative for breast cancer. Additionally, she is a co-founder of the current Project Luminate, a foundation initiated to educate the generation about issues that go unrecognized in society through blog posts. In her free time, she likes to do art, bike with her friends, watch Netflix, and volunteer.

Neha Chelamkuri

Student
Neha Chelamkuri is a sophomore at Centennial High School in Frisco, TX, and is passionate about fighting for menstrual equity, mental health awareness, and against climate change. She is also currently an ambassador for Teens4Green, a treasurer for Active Minds CHS, and is involved in HOSA. In her spare time, she enjoys writing, dancing, playing the violin, and reading psychological thrillers.

Neha Jarabandi

Student
As a hard-working and dedicated student, Neha pushes herself to try her best every day and participates in numerous activities inside and outside of school. She is involved in many organizations such as Health Occupation Students of America, Debate, Student Council, and was part of her school’s Biology Olympiad, Science, and Debate UIL team. Neha also loves to volunteer and give back to her community in any way she can. In her free time, she binge-watches shows on Netflix, loves to dance, adores reading novels, and spends hours on Instagram wondering why she still didn’t delete the app. In the future, she hopes to go into the field of medicine and become a world-renowned comedian (the latter more important than the first). She can’t wait for you to hear her idea worth sharing!

Nishita Appana

Student
As an outstanding student with exceptional participation in the local community, Nishita strives for excellence, responsibility, and leadership. She continuously shows her participation in school by being involved with several organizations. She has not only been recognized at the state and international levels for her marketing ability but also has been identified for teaching Syrian Refugees. She has been involved with Helping Hands, United Nations Children's Fund, Business Professional of America, DECA, American Red Cross, and countless other institutions. As an influential activist, she co-founded a foundation known as Project Luminate, in which she desires to bring knowledge to the new generation about unrecognized issues. She has a passion for photography and is a woman's rights advocate who hopes to make a change within her society. In the future, she hopes to get a degree in Finance and a Major in Business Management.
