Alvin Lee
Educational Advocate
Alvin Lee (he/him) has been deeply involved in California education policy since 9th grade and envisions an interconnected education system where student voice and leadership help drive policy creation. Prior to becoming engaged in ed policy, Alvin interned for then-candidate Gavin Newsom and State Assemblymember Kansen Chu. In both capacities, he helped with policy and legislative research. These opportunities combined with him seeing education inequity first-hand through the lived experiences of a close childhood friend compelled him to speak at his first ever school board meeting in 8th grade. Since then, he's developed a spark and deep passion in public policy and community organizing. He is also the Chair and Co-Founder of the California Department of Education's first Youth Advisory council, where he utilizes youth voice to shape education-policy affecting all of California's 6.3 million public school students.
Pragathi Guruprasad

Pragathi Guruprasad is an Indian-American singer, model, and actress based out of Los Angeles, California. After competing on South India's leading music reality show, Super Singer Junior, in 2012, Pragathi began her music career singing for numerous South Indian films, releasing Independent music, and touring the world. Since, Pragathi has become one of the first South Asian faces for numerous popular brands like NYX Cosmetics and Colourpop Cosmetics. Recently, Pragathi made her debut in Hollywood with a cameo in Mindy Kaling's new Netflix show "Never Have I Ever."
Sivakumar Ramu

Driven by positivity and a hunger to find answers through science, Dr. Ramu is recognized as an inspiring, kind, joyous and thoughtful leader by those acquainted to him in clinical, research, and educational settings. Dr. Ramu began his career as a quality control chemist, discovering early on his interest in laboratory medicine, especially immunology and infectious diseases. He co-founded Radiance Diagnostics, a certified medical lab in Illinois in response to the current COVID 19 pandemic.
