In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Adina Deacu

Adina Deacu is an Environmental Psychology Researcher studying different learning, working and living environments as context of behavior, as well as the influence that human behavior has in return on the environment as a whole. Through all the projects that she works on, she considers both the physical environments (interior/exterior design), as well as the social ones (human interaction design). Through her work she helps individuals and companies create better learning and working environments with a focus to maximize individual potential, while enhancing cooperation, productivity, levels of wellbeing, but also creating behavioral change towards pro-environmentalism.

He is an author, speaker, counselor, and research specialist who worked with the expert team in Silicon Valley to develop the science-based system of finding love. Shaun has published many of articles, audio courses, video courses and participated in national-wide lecture tour.

Nicolas Clement

Nicolas is a professional negotiator who combines the best of academic training, 15 years of China presence, deal making expertise, a lifelong passion for martial arts, as well as public speaking, training, and coaching skills. He is the China representative of French leading sales performance consultancy Halifax Consulting. Holder of an MBA from ESSEC Business School, Nicolas also holds since 2017 a Professional Certificate from Stanford University in which he achieved 97% in negotiation. He was personally coached during 5 years by Jim Camp, negotiation coach to the FBI Hostage rescue Teams. Barely able to walk after a surgery in 2016, he invests his free time in hours per week of Taiji and Wing Chun. Knowing when to transpose either depending on the situation enriches the colors of his negotiation system to make the difference, as he did on his largest consulting mission: a successful billion-dollar JV negotiation for a Fortune 500 company here in China.

Simon Collins

Simon Collins is a former Dean at Parsons in New York and creative director at Nike in Asia. He has spoken at the United Nations in NY and been featured in Forbes, Business of Fashion, WWD, SCMP, China Daily and The New York Times. After working with Nike, Polo and Zegna, he spent seven years as Dean of the School of Fashion at Parsons where he helped turn the quietly respected design school into a global mega-brand. Featured in The Business of Fashion’s Global 500 and Fast Company Magazine’s 100 Most Creative People in Business. His book“The School of Fashion”came out in 2014 and he joined the Parsons Board of Governors. He then chaired the Advisory Board for Global trend group WGSN and advised WME IMG on reinventing NYFW. He joined the Advisory Council for NYU Stern Luxury EMBA and was appointed an Honorary Ambassador for the China Institute in New York and Visiting Professor at Tsinghua University. In 2016 he founded the Fashion Culture Design Unconference in New York and in 2017 he founded the global design education platform WeDesign.org Simon Collins is dedicated to helping brands to create beautiful solutions and sharing his global design knowledge.

I have been going further and further with no life planning.

Zheng Gavin

Gavin Zheng is the Co-Founder and COO of VSPN. He graduated from Peking University with a master degree in Software Engineering. As a veteran in the esports industry, Zheng leads the development of esports broadcasting and owns several exclusive patents. In an effort to enforce professional esports league regulation, he has led the creation of a tournament operation bluebook for Chinese esports industry. Zheng also directed the production of mainstream esports tournaments including KPL, S League, CRL, BSC, and F1 Esports Series China Championship. As a guest lecturer at Communication University of China (CUC) College of Animation and Digital Art, Zheng pioneers in teaching 5 esports-centered courses at Project 211 universities, including Introduction to Esports and Esports Tournament Planning and Production.
