As we step into the new decade, we would like to address the new upcoming challenges faced by the youth as well as old issues that have become more prominent than ever. We would like to explore innovation and recent technological breakthroughs and what they mean for our future.

Aaron Sarma

Adam Brimo is the Founder and Group CEO of social learning platform OpenLearning.com. Since 2012, OpenLearning has enabled over 2.17 million learners worldwide to gain access to quality online education. Adam is also recipient of the 2017 Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia in Consumer Technology.

Chee Yim Goh

Self-proclaimed generalist. Enjoys learning coding through teaching, human connections in community and podcasts. Currently part of the co-founding team of a property management startup (IdealHub.com). Proud founding team member of WWCode KL since 2014.

Gwen Yi Wong

Gwen Yi founded Tribeless in 2016 with a dream –– to create spaces in our everyday lives where we can skip the small talk and #SeeTheHumanFirst. My Holland

My Holland was born in the South of France on the United Nations International Day of Happiness. A French Vietnamese educated at Paris Sorbonne, and in the USA and Australia, she calls herself a citizen of the world. Her passion is to facilitate improvements in leadership, emotional intelligence and mental wellbeing for a better world. She is also a change catalyst, idealist, mindset transformer, author, blogger and executive coach. A mother of 2 daughters she is dedicated to empowering women and helping men to bridge misunderstandings between genders. Her partner Anthony is one of the rare men to follow his wife’s dreams and they moved from Australia to settle in Vietnam in 2018. Their company’s mission is to empower especially the younger generations in Asia to seize the huge opportunities for flourishing in this dynamic region with growth mindsets that are inclusive with respect to cultural background and gender.

Qyira Yusri

Qyira is the Co Founder and Education Director of #Undi18. #Undi18 is a Malaysian grassroots movement, spearheaded by a group of young people that successfully lobbied the Government and Parliament of Malaysia to take steps towards amending Article 119(1) of the Federal Constitution to reduce the minimum voting age in Malaysia from 21 to 18 years old. Qyira also is a member of the National Youth Consultative Council, and have received awards such as the Democracy Discourse Fellow and Prestige Malaysia's 40 Under 40 award. She is an incoming Fellow at the Institut Für Auslandsbeziehungen and is part of the fourth cohort for the Axiata Young CEO Development Program.

Siti Aishah

Siti Aishah is the Founder of the SPOT Community Project by SIPJ. She spearheads a team of volunteers providing rights based comprehensive sexuality education impacting the lives of more than 10,000 children since 2015. She's an Obama Foundation APAC Leader and she's passionate about community organising and arts.

Yasmin Rasyid

Yasmin is a strong advocate for sustainable development having founded a local community movement called Eco-Knights some 15 years ago. She has been actively involved in designing and implementing interventions for sustainable community development. In her spare time, she compliments her sustainability-related endeavours with occasional indulgences in nature and solo travelling.
