In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Asaph Alexander Ward has a doctorate degree in Sacred Music. He is a successful music producer, inspiring life coach, and clinician who masterfully executes his craft and brings continuity to the sound of the music community.

Lalitha Nallamothula

Lalitha is a renowned award winning author, Quantum evangelist and a motivational speaker. She has published several books and research papers on Quantum technologies in reputable international science journals. She has participated in many corporate workshops to encourage women and students in STEM. She does so to encourage diversity in the field because diversity plays a crucial role in making progress in STEM fields. She realizes that a great hindrance to many is the stigma and challenges that comes with switching careers to a new and emerging field such as Quantum Science. Lalitha’s passion is to provide ways to ease this shift by setting guided plans to adapt and thrive.

Laterras R. Whitfield

Laterras R. Whitfield is a lover of mankind and a consummate storyteller. He has garnered three Regional Emmy® nominations as a filmmaker on three different projects: sharing his personal journey as a foster to adoptive dad and his advocacy work with the homeless. Whitfield is the beloved host of the “Dear Future Wifey Podcast”, a show in which he transparently takes viewers on a ride as he discovers, uncovers, and recovers love. Whether it is touring plays across the country, shooting documentaries or commercials, or helping to heal children in foster care, Whitfield is dedicated to making his life’s journey impactful.

Tashara Parker

Tashara Parker is an award-winning anchor and reporter at WFAA News 8 in Dallas, Texas covering traffic, breaking news and inspirational stories. Featured as one of WFAA's preeminent voices, the Daybreak anchor brings experience, vibrancy and authenticity -- capturing the attention of viewers in an engaging and informative way, all the while creating loyalty and social impact. Coined as a "community-focused storyteller", Tashara is the go-to source for highlighting organizations and individuals who have historically been underrepresented and misrepresented in mainstream media. In the spirit of innovation, her acclaimed original series “Rooted” for the ABC network affiliate WFAA, was met with rave reviews for tenaciously tackling the taboo topic of Black hair and professionalism within the workplace.
