Therefore, we need to ask: What possibilities, opportunities and threats will come with tomorrow’s technological advancements? It is time to rethink our future.

Andreas Kaplan

Dean ESCP Business School Berlin
Professor Kaplan’s research focuses on analyzing and decrypting the digital world, in particular the areas of social media and artificial intelligence. With several seminal articles and ~ 30,000 citations on Google Scholar, Professor Kaplan has been counted among the worldwide top 50 business and management authors according to John Wiley & Sons. Furthermore, broadly covered Stanford study recognized Kaplan as one of the world’s top-cited and impactful scientists. Professor Kaplan has teaching experience in top-tier schools and universities such as Harvard, Sciences Po Paris, and Tsinghua University.

Maria Josefa Angela Bautista

Jo Bautista is a Master’s degree student at ESCP Berlin, undertaking the Entrepreneurship and Sustainable Innovation Program. She is also the winner of the Speakers Competition organized by Digib ESCP student society and TEDxESCPBerlin.

Ricarda Schmidt-Scheele is a postdoctoral researcher at the Center for Interdisciplinary Risk and Innovation Studies at the University of Stuttgart. She does research on scenarios and foresight methods in the areas of energy and sustainability. She works as a facilitator at the Oxford Scenarios Programme at University of Oxford
