This event occurred on
December 28, 2020
Arochukwu, Abia
Nigeria

TEDxArochukwu focuses on the central ideas of “communicating and preserving our tradition through Nsibiri writings and Illili; parental and filial support and care; and 'transformative' thinking for a sustainable livelihood.”

Succinctly, speakers could choose their topics outside these central ideas enumerated above so long as it fits into the event's theme, but it should be drawn from any of these: entrepreneurship & business or commercial exploits, capacity building & technical skills development, technological development & innovation, medical & scientific advances, creative & developmental arts, machine learning & artificial intelligence, faith-based & non-faith based motivational, and other sectors.

Its central theme is “all that matters….” this in the context of all that matters in the socio-economic development & sustenance of Arochukwu, the identification of emerging technologies and futuristic thinking that will position the kingdom and make it relevant in the present as well in the future, the needed skills and right potentials that will guide the actualization of outstanding inventions, the identification and elimination of fault lines, and generation of poverty-reducing growth and social deprivation/disadvantage reduction in the Kingdom.

The key objective for the event is to highlight and showcase creative and futuristic, yet, innovative ideas that are native to the Arochukwu Kingdom.
