In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Bernard also serves as anE-commerce consultant for the International Trade Centre, an agency of the UN focused on sustainable trade for SME’s in developing countries.

Chizi Uwaga is an analytical thinker with experience in design engineering, product development, and marketing analytics. He is the Founder of SmartSeal and the Co-Founder of Junity. Chizi hopes to curate an African culture that values merging its tangible art forms with technology - thus creating a new industry of global trade.

His quest to develop leaders for change started from Takuve Basic School, where he diligently served for 2 years as a Fellow with Lead for Ghana, a nationwide movement expanding educational opportunity to all children in the country. As an experienced development practitioner, his impact transcends the classroom walls. In raising ethical leaders from rural schools, Joshua seeks to solve Ghana’s myriad public sector challenges with a bottom-up approach. Currently, Joshua is empowering the future and young Africans to succeed through IYAN (Inspiring Young Achievers Network) Africa.

Sally Osafo

Sally Osafo is your round the way regular degular African girl, living in Accra, Ghana, who on any given day loves engaging in deep, thoughtful conversations about existential crises and beyond, with just about anybody. Vic Mensa

Vic Mensa is a rapper from Chicago, Illinois. He released his first project, the Straight Up EP at age 16 and was previously a member of the indie group Kids These Days. He also founded Chicago hip hop collective SAVEMONEY with Chance The Rapper. Following the disbandment of Kids These Days, Mensa went solo and released INNANETAPE in 2013.
