In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Dario Voltolini

Author
Dario Voltolini is a writer and Italian journalist who lives in Turin. He was a professor and director of the “Holden School of Storytelling & Performing Arts” and has collaborated with “La Stampa” daily newspaper. He has published with many Italian editors including Einaudi, Feltrinelli, Mondadori and Bollati Boringhieri

Luca Peyron

Theologian and Catholic Priest
Luca Peyron was born in Turin on 31 March 1973 and as a young boy he was already interested in technology and God. He graduated in law and became a consultant in industrial property, dealing with the links between law and the internet. In 2001 he left the profession and his girlfriend to follow the priestly vocation. He became a priest in 2007. Since 2012 he has been working in the academic realm and since 2018 he has been teaching theology and specialising in digital transformation theology. In 2019 he founded the service for the Digital Apostolate in the Diocese of Turin, one of the first global services of the Catholic Church. Today Don Luca continues to be interested in technology and God, trying to make the human more divine and technology more human.

Marina Geymonat

Artificial Intelligence Manager
Graduate in Information Science, she has a deep interest in the humanities. She has always worked in the field of research and technological innovation on issues related to data analysis, recommendation systems, digital TV and in general the extraction of useful knowledge from large data piers. For about ten years her main interest has been in Artificial Intelligence. She is particularly interested in the study of the potentials and the caveats of its concrete use in the corporate environment, but also in the effects it may have - or is already having - on people and society. Since 2019 she has been part of the MISE Expert Group on AI.
