In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Armeet Jatyani

Armeet is a junior at Evergreen High School in San Jose, California, who has been working on a project to make helmets for the Sikh community for the past year.

Nethra Srinivasan

Nethra is a junior at Leland high school in San Jose and is passionate about neuroscience.

Nikhil Chandra

Nikhil Chandra is a senior at Leland High School in California who plans to major in biomedical engineering with a minor in computer science. He has always had a love for innovation and development. He is especially interested in exploring the vast array of applications of artificial intelligence. One of his favorite projects includes programming an AI-powered skin diagnosis app in his sophomore year. He is currently working on creating a glove and camera system that employs deep learning to translate ASL. Nikhil also enjoys sharing this passion with others, and with his informative speech on Generative Adversarial Networks, he has qualified for the 2021 California State and National Speech and Debate Tournament.
