Lou Jacquin

BPCS student
Lou Jacquin has lived in Brooklyn her whole life, however, her ability to speak three languages has allowed her to see the world from multiple different cultures. Interested in human rights law, Lou hopes to help create a world that allows all people to live freely and without prejudice.

Melita Anderson

BPCS student
Melita Anderson was born in Brooklyn, New York but was raised on a small island in the Caribbean called Antigua. After moving back to Brooklyn in 2015, she has found a passion in activism against racial inequities and systematic racism that deny equal opportunities to minority groups.

Soren Shapiro

BPCS student
Soren Shapiro is a senior at Brooklyn Prospect Charter School. While she remains undecided about her college choice, she plans to study linguistics and anthropology in the future. She is a native New Yorker, and as one of the leaders of the Environmental Club, she is passionate about environmental justice and climate action.
