Retired dentist, mom
Originally from Youngstown, OH, my love of the mountains brought me to Boulder to do my undergrad at University of Colorado. I stayed, and after spending a few years in Vail, I completed my graduate degree at CU in Denver. I eventually moved back to Boulder and worked at the non-profit Dental Aid, before setting up my private dental practice. I taught cosmetic dentistry at the Las Vegas Institute and wrote articles for dental journals. I contributed dentistry to the non-profits Give Back A Smile, and Give Kids A Smile. As a Climate Reality Leader, I educate about the small steps that we can all take to have a positive effect on our environment. I volunteer with Eco-Cycle of Boulder. My other passion is women's reproductive rights, family planning and the education of girls. I hope to help figure out a healthy and constructive reset for all of us in a post-Covid world. I enjoy traveling, hiking, and skiing with my husband, Tom. .
