Theme: "Reality Check"

For our Tedx Youth event at the Amsterdam International Community School we want to do the theme/title of “Reality Check”. We feel like everyone tends to focus on what has happened in the past or what is going to happen in the future. However, we felt that some people forget to stop and focus on what is going on in the world right now. There are so many interesting things happening right now; we feel that the world needs to pause for a moment and really experience what is going on now. We aim to hold an event that explores these current topics and events, which inspires the audience to take a moment and reflect on their current life. In addition to this, the actual saying of “Reality Check” is often used by us all but now we want to look at it objectively - through the use of various speakers.
