Divine Samuel

Composer and Singer
Divine is a singer, composer and song writer. She is an individual who believes that music has a big role to play in building the Society and the world at large. She served in choirs and groups both as a singer and a teacher, teaching proper musical parts for harmonizing, in the process, helping to build their vocal dexterity. She graduated from the department of Business Administration, Bowen University in 2017 and went on to serve in Kebbi State under the NYSC programme and completed it in 2018. She is a certified teacher and currently a masters degree student in Bowen University. She's the last out of three children and is the unmarried one. Divine is a believer of the Gospel of Christ and simply loves God.

Ediri Siakpere

Ms. Siakpere Ediri Deborah or Diri, as she is fondly called is a 500 level Law student of Bowen university. Diri is an honorable member of the Relationship Coaching Team, URBC Family Lagos. She is a Chartered Mediator, an Associate at the Institute of Chartered Mediators and Conciliators of Nigeria. From 2019 to now, she has mediated in over 100 marital disputes at the Office of the Public Defender, Ministry of Justice, Lagos State. Diri is a seasoned writer, written over 50 poems on Love and is presently publishing her first book titled; ‘Mental fornication’. Diri is a product of a Vision, anchored in resilience. She is passionate about people discovering not just their purpose, but the right life partner.

An Ex-"Bowenite" from the Department of Mass Communication, Emmanuel O. Odunfa is the second of four children of his parents and probably the introverted one who got the hack to expressing himself through words at quite an early age. He attended Glory International School, Abuja before moving on to Kings' International College, Ibadan for his secondary education. He is a columnist, a poet and currently a student (again) pursuing his master's degree in the University of Lagos.

Ruth’s contribution to WAVE involves advocating for a level playing field for youths actively seeking employment without formal qualifications. She is also passionate about supporting the growth of SMEs by helping employers gain mastery of their hiring process for exponential business growth. Ruth has represented her organization locally and internationally on different issues touching youth unemployment. Ruth holds a BSc. in Sociology and Anthropology from the University of Benin and is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM) of Nigeria. She also holds a non-profit management and leadership certificate from Lagos Business School (LBS).

Samuel Chiemela

Stephen Angbulu

Stephen Angbulu is a Nigerian writer, speaker, and reading coach. He is the founder of Readers’ Circle Book Club and shares a deep passion to inspire, inform and—when occasion demands—entertain young people and institutions through writing and speaking. In the last 7 years of writing, Stephen has authored over 2000 online articles, essays, and short stories. Several of which have been selected for awards. In 2016, his essay on youth advocacy and leadership was the winning entry for the National Youth Essay Competition. In 2018, he emerged second runner-up in the PeaceWriteNow essay writing competition organised by the Embassy of Ireland, Nigeria. So far, Stephen has shared his ideas with both local and international audiences through newspaper interviews, symposiums and sound bites on NTA, TVC and BBC News Africa. His book, Developing a Robust Reading Culture, has been a gamechanger for many students and young professionals alike.

Victoria Akingbemila

A 400 level law undergraduate at Bowen University, a public speaker and debater, represented her faculty and university in a number of National competitions and emerging champion. A women’s right advocate, lending her voice to the fight of prejudice against women. She is a free thinker and social commentator. Her mantra is “Aluta Continua Victoria Ascerta” The Struggle continues victory is certain.
