Theme: Empower

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Emma Clay is a 17 year old high school student at Poudre High School in Colorado. She was born in Fort Collins, Colorado. She is passionate about improving our world by taking the initiative to speak out. She loves learning new things and is planning on pursuing acting and modeling as it is her passion. She is currently signed as an actor and model in Denver, Colorado. She loves to entertain people and believes in the importance of bringing attention to urgent issues to help improve our world.

She has a special passion for supporting first-generation students and sparks others to believe in themselves, therefore, turning those roadblock No’s to Yeses! Coach Nina loves her native Colorado where she lives with her husband of 20 years. They are devoted to their little chihuahua fur baby, who, they will freely admit, is the ruling princess of the household.
