In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Heidi Harman – GeekGirlMeetUp

founder of GeekGirlMeetup.com network to elevate female role models in tech industry visionary. Heidi Harman is the founder of RunAlong.se, and co-founder of GeekGirlMeetup.com, project manager, UI-designer and digital strategist. With experience from previous work as planner and web director Heidi has graduated from the The School of New Economy, and Social Innovation (Kaospilots in Denmark) and has worked over ten years in the Scandianavian creative environment with both commercial-, and government web projects and start up ventures before starting her own company. Heidi was one of the youngest to recive the Vinnova inventors project funding with the RunAlong project, together with PhD. Robin Teigland, from the Stockholm School of Economics. Marika Wachtmeister – Hur jag byggde min dröm

founder of Wanås Foundation. Wanås offers a combination of art, nature and history. Since 1987, Wanås presents contemporary international art with a focus on site-specific installations. Wanås is located in Östra Göinge in southern Sweden and consists of a medieval castle, an organic farm, an art gallery, and a sculpture park. This year Yoko Ono (b. 1933, JP) and Jacob Dahlgren (b. 1970, SE) are invited to use the Wanås Park as their space. Since the start in 1997, the Wanås Foundation’s educational program, Wanås+, has expanded. The focus is on programs concerning contemporary art’s addible qualities with the aspirations of understanding and interpreting contemporary artistic forms of expression. The program involves adults, teenagers and children.

Isaac Nilsson Bigot Klinteberg - PlayboyLindmarks

During the spring 2010 only 19 yrs old Isaac Nilsson got the idea to establish an recruitment company with the purpose to hire waiters. The idea came up when he saw how uneffective and expensive it was with staff in the restaurant business. That is why he invited his classmates William Bigot Klinteberg, Alex Lindmark and Peter Olin, from ProCivitas private upper secondary school, to a café to present his idea and by the 1st of September Lindmarks Servering YE (young enterprise) was founded. During the period as a YE-company they have completed more than 80 orders and as a YE-company they competed against 6 245 other companys for the honoroble title Swedish masters in Young Enterprise. Februari 2011 the comapny won a branding competition and Helsingborgs branding agency began working by branding strategy and business development. Through Helsingborgs branding company Lindmarks Servering got an order from Richard Nilsson who runs Residence Superieur and Villa Oxygene in Cannes and a event business with connection to the film festival in Cannes.Richard Nilsson had just recently comitted to a cooperation with the billion dollar comapny Playboy in USA, whereupon Lindmarks Servering got to work for Playboy Mansion in Villa Oxygene and work on events such as Jackson Family Night, Lamborghini party, Studio 54, fashion nights among more.

Yousef Bencherifa – I live in the world of computers and programming!

Yousef is a 5th grader and 11 years old, he goes to a school in Vittra Rösjötorp. His biggest interest is computers, internet, webpages, games. He would like to learn programming, because he thinks that is the future.

Tevin Stakston – Varför twittrar jag…

Is 15 years old and in ninth grade in Stockholm. He specializes in drama and thinks he wants to continue on a similar track. Another interest of Tevin is film, there is something special to se how a story is told and how emotions can be conveyed through a camera lens. He is also very interested in contemporary history, especially the two World Wars and the agenda around them. It is important to understand how such things could happen and what we can do to prevent it from happening again. Another passion of his is Music that he both play and listens to. Since he plays the bass, he appreciate artists who use “real” instruments. Inspired by 60′s music and the Beatles as idols. He keeps track of the outside world through Twitter which he really like, it is the first and the last thing I read in one day. But in between I like also cultural pages and other newspapers. In the paper!

Emma Grimme Hallberg, Malika Boubghila & Anahita Asadi – Hur gör vi…?

Anahita Asadi is 18 years old in her free time she likes to read, work with her company and be with her friends and family. She loves to travel cause then she gets to know new people and cultures and the possibility to maybe learn something new. As a person she is very ambitious, goal-oriented and analytic. Malika Boubghila is also 18 years old and people around her thinks she is a person who likes challenges, is goal-oriented and ambitious. She is also extremely social and have great interest in getting to know new people. Even though she is young she speaks 6 languages, four of them fluently. Emma Grimme Hallberg is a positiv young woman and a doer and her passions are riding, skiing and sailing which she is doing when she is not studying or working. In the future she hope to be able to combine her work with her passion. They are all about to graduate from high school, were they have had to create, run and liquidate a company in a year. Alex Scrivner – My move from England to Sweden … and I am 11 years old!

Is originally from the north east of England moved to Sweden when he was 5 years old He is now 11 and lives Sollentuna with his parents and his younger brother and sister. At school he is an editor of the monthly newspaper ‘The Buzz’. He enjoys looking for new stories from around the world to put into his paper. He recently co-started a school chess club which he is also a member of. Out of school he plays tennis at Edsberg Tennis Club and compete in local tournaments. He is also a keen scout and his ‘pack’ spend most of the summer sailing on Edsviken, that is his favourite thing to do at scouts. They go on weekend hikes a few times a year which he really enjoys. He also plays football in the local league, he plays for Sollentuna United and really like it. He loves to listen to music especially Arctic Monkeys and Vampire Weekend.

Madeleine Kozma

Started her art practice 2005 in a project called ZonModerna at Moderna Museet. Nowadays she studies Fine Arts at Konstfack, Stockholm. In the summer of 2011, she received a scholarship for having a solo exhibition in Gerlesborg, Bohuslän.
