This event occurred on

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Bob Stilger

Bob Stilger, Ph.D., is an activist-scholar who focuses on fostering connections, strengthening leadership, and regenerating community. Over the last two decades, Bob’s attention has been drawn to questions of how we create the lives and communities we actually want in times of disaster, crises, and collapse. The COVID-19 Pandemic of 2020 is but the latest in a litany of crises inviting us to consider how we as human beings are living on our small planet. https://newstories.org/team/bob-stilger/
