In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Aiman Shahab

Aiman is a fourth-year student studying Business Administration and Spanish. She’s passionate about diversity & inclusion, which stems from her experience being raised in a South Asian household and being exposed to various backgrounds. She’s an advocate for taking a social stance for her cultural and campus community. Through her work in various non-profits, SGA, Women’s Resource Center, and campus cultural organizations she’s worked to understand gaps of injustice within the realm of sexual & domestic violence, female empowerment, and minority mobilization. In her free time she loves to Yelp, paint, write, and chat with friends over coffee!

Barrett Kulik

Barrett is a 4th Year Business major concentrating in finance. He is from Marietta, Ga. He is a Fiji, involved with SGA, the Investments Committee, the Interfraternity Council and served as TEDxGeorgiaTech's Director of Programming last year among other things. He is very passionate about finance, leadership and pursuing excellence each and every day.

Rey Angeles

Rey is a Fulbright scholar from the Philippines pursuing his master’s degree in Supply Chain Engineering at Georgia Tech. Prior to this, he had 8 years of work experience in the Quick Service Restaurant industry doing procurement, systems implementation, and supply chain management. He wasn't athletic growing up and just adopted an active lifestyle a few years back, starting with running. In 2018, he fulfilled his dream of finishing an Ironman 70.3 triathlon race in the Philippines
