In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Chloe Wang

Chloe Wang is a current senior at Milpitas High who's building her world around her passions, whether in business, technology, robotics, leadership, or another area. She currently serves as president of Milpitas Xtreme Robotics (her pride and job), president of Milpitas Youth International Business Initiative, vice president of PAWS, treasurer of LaunchX, and council member for the Digital Business Academy. She has interned at Oath Inc. (Verizon Media) and View Inc., been a mentee of the tech startup Fin My Everything and More Active Girls in Computing, and notes various other incredible opportunities to learn and grow here in the Silicon Valley. each new experience feeds her passions and inspires her to further explore the things that really matter in her life.

Mallory Rothstein

Mallory Rothstein is a speaker and coach who founded Learn What Matters & the Learn What Matters Foundation which aim to help high schoolers invest in their personal development. In addition, she's an Administrative Business Partner within People Development at Google. Mallory has previously spoken at Alphabet's Mental Health Conference, Miracle Corners of the World's Youth Leaders Program, Girl Powered & VEX's Robotics Tournament, & at various high schools across the United States. While she was born & raised in New Jersey (graduating from Freehold High School), Mallory now calls the Bay Area her home where she enjoys cheering on the Golden State Warriors and being a member of Hillsong SF.

Sanjeev Tanna

Sanjeev Tanna is a social impact entrepreneur & CEO of Next Generation Nations (NGN.org), youth-led platform for youth to take action on domestic and global issues. He deeply researched youth's concerns by working closely with them that led him to develop Global Issues Curriculum and 21-Global Challenges. He recruits and trains high performance fearless new generation leaders who are big dreamers, want to bring social change and pursuing career path "with-purpose". Prior to the NGN, he founded, managed, and successfully exited medical devices design and manufacturing firm - Intanna Corporation. He received M.S. in Plastics Engineering from University of Massachusetts, Lowell.

Sashrika Pandey

Sashrika Pandey is a programmer and writer interested in the interdisciplinary applications of artificial intelligence. As a former Research Assistant at the University of Iowa, she developed autonomous navigation models using reinforcement learning in Professor Denise Szecsei's lab and presented their findings through a research paper and academic poster. As Editor in Chief of the Allgirlithm blog, a non-profit that provides online resources for aspiring female computer scientists, she tailors articles for a website that receives over 250 views weekly. In addition to programming for her robotics team, she plays the trombone and contributes to her school's literary arts magazine.

Taarini Kaur Dang

Taarini Kaur Dang is a 15-year old Venture Capitalist, Speaker, Forbes Writer, and Women Empowerment Champion. She is the Founder and Managing Partner of a Venture Capital firm called Brave14 Capital for which she has raised funding from top Venture Capitalists and Institutional Investors in the US. At the age of 13, she wrote a book (The Young Aspiring Entrepreneur). She has received several awards (Young American-Indian Award, Top 100 Women in Finance in India) and has been featured in the media (BBC, Nasdaq, Mercury News, etc.). She has been an invited speaker at top conferences (Google Female Founders Summit, Collision, TiECon, Women's March, etc.). Taarini is also the co-Founder of a female empowerment Instagram account called @ClassyWomen which has ramped to 600k followers in 2 years across 10 Asian countries.

Vivek Chotai

In his lifetime, Vivek Chotai has advocated for mental health support, protested against toxic masculinity, given alpacas stylish haircuts, and racked up a collection of 7,000+ memes. As the president of Comedy Club, he holds the most prestigious position at Milpitas High School. Outside of a perfect academic record, Vivek is a captain of MHS wrestling and assistant coach of Rancho wrestling, a former representative of 10,207 students on the MUSD Board of Education, writer and illustrator for various newspapers, and neurological researcher at Stanford University. Most importantly, Vivek strives to be a good person, accepting and willing to listen.
