Theme: Rasa: The Many Faces of Life

This event occurred on
September 26, 2020
Malang, Jawa Timur
Indonesia

2020 marks the third entry of TEDxUniversitas Brawijaya, not unlike its predecessors, this year's theme deals with the idea of creating a better future for mankind, however the pathway we take is different, we focus on gaining deeper understanding of the one at the epicentre thereof; human.

Rasa becomes its core philosophy; Bharata Muni's brainchild enshrined in his ageless opus "Natya Sastra". Rasa does not necessarily correlate with mere emotions and senses, but rather experiences which enable the emotions to exist. We devote this year's TEDx to deepening our grasp of our nature as human being by revolving on things that we are innate with; stories and experiences.

Taglined "Rasa: The Many Faces of Life," —(english contextualization), we want to unravel the rarely explored stories from speakers of differing backgrounds as we believe, "Humans today are shaped by their actions yesterday."
