During this intimate evening, innovative ideas will be presented on stage; speakers will challenge our paradigms and open new perspectives in order to broaden our intellectual horizons and our knowledge of innovative work done in Montreal.

Osama Dorias

Lead Game Designer
Osama Dorias is the Lead Game Designer at Warner Brothers Montreal and the chair of the International Game Developers Association's Muslims in Games Special Interest Group. He also teaches game design at Dawson College where he authored the Independent Game Design Program. Osama loves to empower people in expressing themselves through game making. He especially loves to give a voice to marginalized people and causes. Osama has hosted game jams, workshops and other community activities to this end, which has culminated in his co-founding the Montreal Independent Games Awards.

Sébastien Ménard

World Audio Manager
Sébastien Ménard, now the World Audio Manager at Gameloft, has worked as a producer/sound engineer in the music industry for over 10 years. After founding Green Music Productions, he developed a passion for teaching both the creative and technical aspects of audio. At Gameloft, he is in charge of a team of over 25 audio professionals including sound designers, composers, mixers, VO managers, sound technician and audio director. He worked on over 50 video games and 1200 audio marketing projects including franchises like Asphalt, Modern Combat, Spiderman Unlimited, Minion Rush, Disney Magic Kingdoms and many more.

Stephanie Harvey

Professional video game player
Stephanie Harvey ("missharvey"), a five-time world champion in competitive Counter-Strike, and longtime female pro-gaming icon, currently plays video games professionally. Formerly a game designer for Ubisoft Montreal, Stephanie is now a brand ambassador for OMEN by HP Canada, a spokesperson for DreamHack Montreal and a host on RDS Jeux Vidéo. She is also currently working with the International Olympic Committee and dedicates much of her time raising awareness for healthy gaming habits, gender equality, and online toxicity. Her 16 years in eSports and 7 years as a developer awarded her a Forbes 30 under 30 award, one of the BBC 100 women and the title of Canada’s Smartest Person Season 3 on CBC.
