In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Adi Nissim

Creator of Street Interviews Project and the Interviewer project. Lecturer for interpersonal communication
After completing B.A Communications, LL.B Law and a Mediation certificate, Adi created the "Street Interviews"" project. She interviews strangers on the street, asks them intuitive questions and documents the interaction that has been created. Adi's goal in creating the project is to enable a platform of expression, to put the spotlight on people around her and to get a glimpse of their lives. Nowadays, Adi interviews business owners from different fields and industries. She's also the facilitator and creator of a "Street Interviews" course for interpersonal communication in the method of interviewing tools.

Ayat Abuo Shmeiss

A poet and the creator of the "Successful Arab Jaffa Women" project
Ayat Abuo Shmeiss is a poet and a blogger. She is married and mother to Mahmoud. Ayat graduated with honors in the political and social sciences degree. Her love for writing encouraged her to publish two award winning poetry books in Hebrew and Arabic. She is a social activist, mainly in the female field. During 2019 she initiated a unique project on facebook named "Successful Arab Jaffa Women" in order to highlight the powerful Arab women in her community. This successful project touches tens of thousands of people locally and globally, and enables them to get acquainted with female role models and their activities.

Dalia Feldheim

Corporate consultant, executive coach, speaker and author
Dalia Feldheim is the founder of Flow Leadership Consultancy, draws on her own extensive corporate leadership experience to enable organizations promote a more authentic, happy and psychologically-safe working culture. Before founding Flow Leadership Consultancy, Dalia spent over two decades as a C-suite global marketing executive where she led work on some of the world’s most iconic ad campaigns like ’Always like a girl’. Dalia holds an Executive Master’s degree in Consulting and Coaching for Change from INSEAD business school (Organizational Psychology), is an adjunct professor at the Singapore Management University, an executive coach and an international speaker.

Dan Ariely

Professor of Psychology & Behavioral Economics at Duke University
Dan Ariely, James B. Duke Professor of Psychology & Behavioral Economics at Duke University, is dedicated to answering these questions and others in order to help people live more sensible – if not rational – lives. His interests span a wide range of behaviors, and his sometimes unusual experiments are consistently interesting, amusing and informative, demonstrating profound ideas that fly in the face of common wisdom. He is a founding member of the Center for Advanced Hindsight, co-creator of the film documentary (Dis)Honesty: The Truth About Lies, and a three-time New York Times bestselling author. His books include Predictably Irrational, The Upside of Irrationality, The Honest Truth About Dishonesty, Irrationally Yours, Payoff and Dollars and Sense. In 2013 Bloomberg recognized Dan as one of Top 50 Most Influential thinkers.

Marek Glezerman

Head, Gender and Sex - Conscious Medicine, Tel Aviv University and Rabin Medical Center
Prof. Marek Glezerman is a world-renowned obstetrician and gynecologist and has in the past chaired in succession 3 major departments of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He has devoted the past decade of his career to research and promote the new field of Gender – and Sex Conscious Medicine (GSCM). He is currently head of GSCM at Tel Aviv University, director of the Research Center for GSCM at the Rabin Medical Center and founding president of the Israel Society of GSCM. Prof. Glezerman is also immediate past-president of the International Society of Gender Medicine. He has authored/edited 6 books and over 330 scientific publications and chapters in textbooks. His widely read book "Gender Medicine" has been translated into multiple languages.

Nitzan Shayer

Musician- singer & song writer
Nitzan is an Israeli singer & songwriter. She comes from a background of jazz, blues, and classical music, so in her creation, Nitzan combines these musical worlds with pop and electronic music, to create her own sound. Nitzan competed in "The Voice Israel"- Season 4 and won 2nd place. Ever since then she's been working on her original materials and building her brand internationally, she also writes and sings for international commercials and films. Nitzan's goal is to spread her message of self-love, acceptance and empowerment through her music and life story to everywhere possible.

Rana Choir

An Arab-Jewish women's choir from Jaffa Israel
Rana Choir is an Arab - Jewish Women's Choir that was founded in 2008 by Mika Danny and Idan Toledana. Rana is comprised of Muslim, Christian and Jewish women from Jaffa. As the only Arab-Jewish women’s choir in Israel, it serves as a unique example of the potential of shared social and creative life. Rana operates from the belief in the power of song to foster intercultural dialogue and form deep human relationships. Furthermore, Rana is based on the belief that the empowerment of women’s voices in the public sphere will both enrich Israel’s cultural scene, and increase the public’s faith in the possibility of peace and a multicultural, shared society in the Middle East.

Tina Busuik

International real estate entrepreneur
Tina was born deaf, to deaf parents who did not know sign language. At the age of 8 she was placed in a home for children with dysfunctional parents. With almost no ability to communicate, she was bullied by the other girls and had to learn to cope and fit in. From an uncommunicative deaf child, Tina has become a successful international real estate investor and personal empowerment speaker. Her deafness doesn’t stop or define her, and from a life that felt like black and white she is living in full color. Tina believed that sometimes, we should all be deaf to the voices around us, because anything is possible.

Yael Arad

Head of Commercial Division Nickelodeon & Viacom Brands, Israel, and senior advisor in the gaming space. International speaker in the business industry
Yael Arad is the first Israeli to win an Olympic medal after 40 years of participation of Israeli delegations in the Olympic games. In summer 1996 after 21 years of career, winners of the European gold medal and silver medalist in the world championship she retired and made the transition, building a business career. Yael became an entrepreneur & business development expert, and she is a market leader in constructing and integrating marketing concept, execution and implementation. Since 2013 Arad is integrating between business and sport leadership and is a member of board in the Israeli Olympic committee. Arad is lecturing in the business industry about the analogy between excellence in sport, business & life.
